An interesting scoop today brought to you by Techell Corp, your one stop battleship shop!
It has come to our attention that the Forsaken Empire is slowly crippling. They tried to take over Fountain, but faced a larger resistance then they had expected and their industrial corps could not keep up with the ship losses (don't insure your ship with HUFF kids). The Forsaken Empire then decided to move back to Vale of the Silent, with the intention to rebuild their fleet and plan another attack on Fountain (they planned to use aprox. 3-4 weeks to rebuild).
However, Vale of the Silent and Geminate don't have the countless rich ore fields as Fountain and on top of that the Phoenix Alliance are disrupting HUFF mining operations, making it difficult for the Forsaken Empire to rebuild.
As it is now, the Forsaken Empire are still residing in Vale of the Silent and surroundings. However, this situation will change soon! It has come to our ears that talks started between several Forsaken Empire corporations and the Curse Alliance. This is where we stand now, however it is interesting to see what the future will bring us!
Several FE corporations (HUFF/Biomass/EPA/etc.) will be merging into one corporation named "Forsaken Empire" (this corporation is already created by Mustang24), this corporation shall join the Curse Alliance. That is, if the Curse Alliance Council votes "yes" to the proposal.
It will be interesting to see what the Curse Alliance Council will vote. Will they use their "denyability" again? Only time will tell...

(OOC) I always enjoy reading speculative posts, but due to timeresrictions I rarely get the time to reply.
I often wonder about speculative posts. By their very nature they often contain information that is far from the truth, but ocationaly contain ideas that are so good that they end up being fulfilled - almost like prophecies...

An interesting question comes to mind: What would the Curse Alliance do if it DOES happen?
Since we are all denying that it's true, this question might make more sense for all the fans of the magic hat.

Who cares what will happen, everyone and their mother already has their minds on CA being pirates for the sake of having some lame reason for fighting them.
I hope FE is allowed to join CA and they band togather and crush the other alliances that have been attacking them for the last several months.

FA/SA have worked together before against CA, as well you know.
PA, obviously, would like SA/FA intel if they chose to attack FE in Curse.

Great cant wait for the bullet time fraps vids with random unlimited black hole cloaking allocated at random.
Pretty dammed unplayable due to lag if you ask me that kinda battle even on a 10th of its potential scale atm

Always been all the alliances against CA, SA/FA/PA/ORS(nomads)/CFS/AA, they just dont have the brassy balls to face them alone so they gang up and attack a smaller alliance and call them pirates.

PA are not going to be that foolish.
FA saw what happens to alliance who think they can beat us. SA have been shown too.
A few weeks ago FA and SA and evol attacked us and were forced to retreat with severe losses (and very few kills).
Since then FA have got much weaker, and so have SA. Evol seem to have lost interest.

Correct me if I am wrong, but didn't the Fountain Alliance defeat the FE fleet and the little CA fleet that tried to join in on the fun?
It is true what they say though, you are not one of the brightest fellas in this game.

It is true what they say though, you are not one of the brightest fellas in this game.
FA lost way over 100 battleships in that little period of time, yes they could replace them, at least most of the pilots but its dmg done that cant be gained back, they are weaker in that aspect that they hardly can support a new war.
But I must say FA has learned alot and the difference from week 1 and week 6 is huge, they can actually fight now, that makes them stronger in that aspect.
But they did loose several billions all in all, even with insurance.

And what exactly did the Curse Alliance have to do with this? I do believe it was m0o and FE that attacked the FA and apart from the little CA fleet that came to Fountain (which, might I add ran away from the PA) the CA had nothing to do with the losses caused by m0o/FE.

Do you even know the history mate? The reason CA has so many enemies, is the pirates they allowed in and vowed to protect. Whom surprise, surprise, surprise, have many enemies.
Now it looks like history might repeat itself, and I am sure FE will bring whatever enemies they have down to curse also. Its ussually how it works.

Oh my Techell. Please get back to your mining. Your forum spinning is as exagerated as your claims on your fighting ability.
Anyhow - FE and CA? Interesting, two 'Dark' Forces joining together. Would make for a 2 sided split down the middle in eve as josh pointed out. However it would depend on wether the PA would want to get involved with the CA to give FE some more bloody noses.
In my opinion - the PHA and FA will want to re-group before putting together any sort of attack on such a new alliance. Personally i haven't heard anything - not even rumours and i'd say im in the best place for it.
I don't think it would happen because FE wouldn't want to give up their alliance to join another. I think maybe a full on alliance between the CA and FE might be more feasable.
