Rokh ca use the range advantage very well, By simply not needing to field any range enhancer mods. That leaves it with a LOT of space to Shiel externders and 1 Invul field to make it doomsday proof without having to sacrifice any of its range or damage
Its the best sniper fleet when you HAVE to be doomsday proof and don 't wanna spend on rigs. If you spend on rigs you can end up witha a HUGE HP buffer that gives you extra time to warp out if primaried.
So its a high survival rate sniper.
But the BS i don 't want targetign me is the tempest.
That's actually a pretty interesting point. I had never considered it like that. A Rohk (Rokh?) would be a pretty good choice for chars with names near the beginning or the end of the alphabet, I guess (lots of HP buffer).

that really depends on the size of the fleet. if you got a 160k effective armor buffer it only needs like 50-60 snipers to pop you in 1 volley.

The range enhancing mods (tracking enhancer/tracking computer) also effect tracking, iirc. If that is true, then would you still want those mods, so that you can more effectively track targets at long ranges?

Never ever had any issue hitting Battleships at 150 km, specially because tehy are usually standing still. If you need to hit something smaller just switch to faction ammo (and you still have uber range even without the mods)
50-60 sniper BS fleets are NOT common. Even on this hellish fight we have been fighting in 49-u We only saw once a Sniper fleet that big. Most times its like 20-25 snipers.
If brute force doesn't solve your problem... you are not using enough |

Aye. Add to that the lag and desyncs, and instapops are really a rare occurance.
