There's another update for RDB available (version 1.27). It has been updated to display the strategic map grid refs. Some problems with a few new attributes have been fixed, and all the icons have been updated to the renders generated from the premium graphics content. This time, there's only a full installer available, so remember to backup your license before upgrading.

Oh, and I almost forgot: I also upgraded the singularity patch with 5.10.55713. It has the empirean age stuff in it. After installing the singularity patch, you get a different shortcut to start it with the test data, so it doesn't interfere with the normal version. This patch requires version 1.27, so make sure you update RDB first.

It's patch day, and as usual, I have a new version available (1.28). The most notable change is the addition of the new region, but all the changes from the new Empyrean Age patch are in there.

I guess you have no interest in sharing some info about how to read the pickle? files. You would even help me a lot if you could tell me where to find the static string table ;) |

You must have used one of the full installers.
You need to use the registration tool again to enter the license. I eve-mailed you your license code again.

Static string tables? I am not sure what you meant by that. When I asked CCP if I was allowed to publish RDB, they said it was ok but I am supposed to keep my code to decrypt the cache files to myself. If you tell me exactly what static strings you need, maybe I can send you the file. |

The ingame browser is a lot slower now, so please be patient when registering. It takes about 20s for the page to come up.

Version 1.37 is available. I have updated it with the data from QR 1.0.4, but this time I have also updated the bundled jre (to 1.6u11), java 3d and h2. The downside is that there's only a full installer available, since too many files changed. Remember to backup your license file, because the full installer wipes out any existing license. You will have to enter the license code again.

Unfortunatly, no.
NPC data has been removed from the cache for a few years now.
For wormholes, there's a table of systemID and wormholeID, but I couldn't make sense of it (I know of wormholes that have been found on systems that were not in that list).
You can lookup the uncharted solarsystems information in RDB though, if you have their name.
Exploration sites are not in the cache either. The only thing in there are the complexes that you can see on the map in eve.

Version 1.42 based on 5.10.85476 is now ready. There's a full installer (backup your license if you choose this one) and a patch (for 1.37 and later).
I have renamed the WH systems to their real name. You can search for them in the system text field at the top right of the map. I have added the Sleeper Relics to the Trade Goods category, and the Wormholes Anomaly Beacons to the Structures category. The beacons have the list of penalites/bonuses.
I also fixed a few bugs, and the 3d canvas now defaults to opengl mode. The direct3d mode had too many problems due to bad drivers. If you want to go back to direct3d, create a file called "d3d" under the "res" directory. There's one bug left that can occur due to bad video drivers that I haven't manage to get rid of yet (it seems to be only with vista and 64bit nvidia drivers). The popup menus only show up if they are big enough to expand out of the main window. If that happens to you and you want to access the jump route planner or map properties, you should right click on the right side not too far from the edge.
