Tonight we suffered from the absurd lag, node crash, 'cant log back in' etc....while our foes, who obviously also suffered this abomination, were a little more fortunate to still get a good portion of thier fleet in and loaded up.
Sad thing is that what happened today (and has happened previously and will happen again) wont change - the game mechanice simply CANNOT handle these type of engagements. CCP will never admit it, but we all know. 2 and half hours later and im still at black screen 'Entering Game'.
Genuine comiserations to all the players who suffered this (i did while in LV against Goons).

We lost Caps due to game mechanices. We may get them back because of this. The caps you lost (Carriers and MoM), you wont get back. The gizzilion battleships you and your friends have lost you wont get back. The POSes that we are killing you wont get back. Get the picture??!

Yeah, hate to burst your bubble there, but uh, no you won't. CCP has never, and probably will never, reiumburse cap losses. Unfair, but that's the way it is.
I'm trying to make myself empathize with you guys, but I really can't. I think it's mostly because of the forum minority that seem to think they're LV 2.0 and they have the right to belittle their opponents in much the same way they did to... nvm I think you can see where I'm going with this.
Notice the word 'may'....obviously you didnt.
And a repsonse to the class comment ' hi, just killed you again...' blah blah, you keep relying on lag and priority loads, my friend...out an out skill you lose everytime
