Ok so im trying to figure this out. There are normal battleship rats with bountys such as 1.4m 1.55 1.7 1.85m ect Now for rogue drones since they have no bounty and just drop minerals which drone battleships are the better ones for dropping these ?
If anyone knows can you put them in order that would say match the 1.4 to 1.85m bounty meaning best to worst for example.
Eveinfo doesnt tell me this
Also does anyone have a updated ore/ice true sec status map that includes the new drone regions ?
The ones im looking at on eve info dont have this

Sec status doesn't really apply to the drone regions. As to the quality of the rats, I just recall that a matriarch was one of the, if not the, best spawn you got in the drone regions. Either way, they all were lackluster. The most I remember getting worth of mins was roughly 800k or so iirc. It's great to get mins built up, but its much worse than hitting actual rats.

You get minerals from the drones, but it's not really worth it.
My strategy is (roughly)- kill NPC rats, get the bounty and collect the loot, salvage the wreck, sell the loot/salvage, use the proceeds to buy the same amount of minerals, use the remaing ISK to buy better stuff. The bounty from an NPC BS alone will buy more minerals than you get from the best drone.
This is the theory - in practice, I just buy more minerals, and make the stuff I need.

The new commander spawns have 'sentient' in their names.

The difficulty of the drones doesn't appear to have much to do with how much minerals they drop. Then again, I got so fed up with them that I've stopped bothering a number of weeks ago. So I don't know if they changed it in a patch just recently.
Nothing like scrounging for a bit of minerals when all three of the drone BS's microwarp away at 5 km/s to about 300km away, and then just sit there :(
