Or it could just be to buy time, who knows, but honestly, being able to disable guns makes a deathstar not what it used to be.

True, but from other forums I read that this is a system that already has 51% goon POS coverage. In other words, if BoB put down mass guns, goons don't need to clear out the guns after popping the POS because goons don't need to put down any more POSs in that system.

Dude- I've been sitting in Delve for 3 weeks with mates- it was a freaking ghost town apart from stuff happening in 49 - We had to shoot at station services to even get any action :-( - Recruiting! I actually chuckled at some of the tin foil esque idea's some of you have about why it was created so I guess I should tell the real story. Was about 2AM my time and was waiting for a render to finish. Had about 240 ruskies (no blob there or anything) and about 4 friendly in local. Being bored in game looking for something to do in my cov ops and decided to do something I always wanted to do. Make a smilie POS. The original idea I had pre Rev 2 was to use 8 hardeners for eyes 2 warp disruptor and a weber for the nose. The mouth Being 8 larges for the smile and 4 smalls for the tong. The goal being if you warp to the tower you'd have a nice big smilies flashing at you as your ship got shot up. Unfortunately I waited too long and this can no longer be done with POSs the way they are now. I guess something could be made around the outside of the shield but just wouldn't look as good. Of the stuff I had hardeners were the only thing that was really visible as a smilies when you control tab to get the interface to disappear. Make whatever grand plot ideas you like I've having almost as much fun reading them as I had laughing at how silly the thing looked as I was setting it up. Enjoy, Z P.S. If i post something smart it represent my corp and alliance all other posts are my feeling/ideas only and do not represnt the rest
