20 hardeners is annoying, but fine. They could really dirty by using masses of defensive batteries, which take an insane amount of time to clean up after you've taken out the tower.

Their tactic is probabbly to hold down RSF while they and their allies take care of IAAAC.
So all of their forces/allies can focus on RSF.
But seems like things may not go according to their plan.

I dunno, given how you can disable guns now, it seems to me that a hardener POS would be more worthwhile than a deathstar since it'll take longer to kill, meaning forces have to be committed to a single spot longer, slowing progress, and giving more chance to strike the attackers.
Or it could just be to buy time, who knows, but honestly, being able to disable guns makes a deathstar not what it used to be.

True, but from other forums I read that this is a system that already has 51% goon POS coverage. In other words, if BoB put down mass guns, goons don't need to clear out the guns after popping the POS because goons don't need to put down any more POSs in that system.
