Seems like the only way BoB and Co. can kill a Supercap is when it's completely defenceless.
Defenseless = as soon as you fit mothership with same crap most people fit on their throwaway battleships... (+ there wasn't any bob involved)
Imo one of the best kills ever(sitting at cloaked ms waiting for gang 4tw)
-------- I tanked D2 capital fleet and all I got was truncated Erebus mail.

Let me get this straight. Was it a Mothership - Yes. Was it a Razor Mothership - yes. Was it killed - yes.
Please tell me you're joking here. If not, where do you draw the line? Are the poses you lose 'personal' poses therefore 'nothing to do' with Razor? Or dreads? Are they personal too?
There's two ways of looking at this. Either you excuse away any loss your alliance has by claiming it was just one pilot's property - which is just laughable. Or you just choose to leave any alliance mate who gets in trouble to fend for themselves and abandon them. Which is despicable.
I had a fair bit of respect for Razor.
Just because you're siding with the Goons doesn't mean you have to lobotomize yourself in the process.

If a corp mate of mine manages to save up for a mothership on his own, M.Corp is privileged to have him in the corp, and his asset will be defended by the whole corp - to the last man.
Even though a personal asset - that mothership will be defended as one of the corps own.
I feel sorry for the RZR mom pilot if that is the reaction he is getting from his alliance members. So what, RZR stats took a hit - no need to disown the guy and isolate him for an honest mistake.
I'd help that guy build another HEL and get a second bite at the cherry if he were in M.Corp.

99+% of Razor never even knew this MS existed until after it died, since he bought and moved it pretty much without anyone's knowledge. It is fairly hard to defend things you don't know are there and it is also fairly hard to feel particularly much responsibility for them.

I think what he is trying to say to all the people who are desperately smacking Razor over this loss, is that the pilot bought that MS for his private purposes, did not participate in any Razor ops with it (check the killboard) and screwed up all by himself in a situation where Razor was unable to help him (or even somewhat understandably, unwilling).
They should probably kick him for it, but you can't really blame the alliance for some of their pilots being both stupid and not teamplayers ...
isn't it funny how some people advocate both GTC<=>ISK trades and EVE being superior due to its cruelty and costly losses, when they use the former to circumvent the latter?

I'd ban you from further uploading if I were running that host. Even the quality sucked for that size of download.

A GoonFleet newbie recently spent $1000 of his parent's money (without their permission or knowledge) to buy a carrier-capable pilot, along with a carrier.
That carrier was blown up through player stupidity.
Would M.Corp be honored and privileged to have this man?

I think you're missing the point. It's not that Razor did't defend the actual ship as it was going down - if a player is daft enough to move it solo like that, he deserves what he gets. It's the way his allies have disowned the kill and claimed that it's got nothing to do with them.
What ever happened to loyalty and sticking by your alliance mates?

what you sugesting ? we are not killed razor ms becouse you dont know about his presence ? or we dont killed razor ms becouse that was private ship ? 100% people in my aliance dont know about my ships and fits on that ships - that means that kills dont count ? wrong... true is that ship was killed - that pilot was from razor.. oposite to situation when you camping in low sec with another ms... yes... you killed my shutle by that lowsec ms - but my corp and aliance dos not know about my shutle - that shutle was private.. but you anyway published that km... what that means ?

Nobody is saying that. You guys did exactly what you are supposed to do - kill the enemy at every possible opportunity.
But some people are trying to make out that this loss is a failure by RZR as a whole, when it really isn't. Other than 2 or 3 people nobody even knew that Hel existed. Didn't know it was in S-E, didn't have the chance to try and defend it, didn't have the chance to point out to the pilot he was making a ton of stupid decisions.
I'd have been a lot more concerned if the MS had died in combat, but that would have been a real failure. This is just an overdose of secrecy and one guy who found out the hard way he isn't much of a supercap pilot. |

And very bad logic. Personal MS with full corp help etc is USELESS. Because they are usually too scared to engage with em in normal combat (fear of losing ship). It ends up as show toy or lowsec camper (hi D2, where were your moms when you needed em? Taisy?)

Nobody has disowned Retsej, he's gotten alot of stick for ******* up for sure and people in RZR never even knew he had a ms before it died. Then again we've lost a freighter and a machariel in silly circumstanses the last 5 days and they've gotten a similar treatment that all stupid losses get in rzr.
Any loss by a pilot flying RZR colours will be seen as a RZR loss so I'm perfectly fine with us just taking the blow head on even if we had nothing to do with it . We're moving on already.
