So an entire race being "OP" isnt a problem, but another race that isn't minmatar having an "OP ship" and this is suddenly intolerable?
There are counters to drakes: hellcats, alpha BS/nados mostly.
Anyhow you can hit its tank, give it a RoF bonus and a range bonus and you have a much more beastly small gang ship. I welcome this change since im rarely in a fleet over 20 pilots :D

Rather than nerfing ECM...why not buff sensor damps like they intend to? A celestis/arazu/lach damping a falcon/rook is already very effective against birds at range.... |

Also, stating the Talos is underpowered is hilarious beyond words. Perhaps the CSM should do some more actual PVPing rather than Blobbing nonsense.
If they nerfed the cynabal, maybe, just maybe i'd be ok with some some drake changes

If they give the drake a R.o.F bonus and a missile velocity bonus they will need to redefine the cerb and the sac's roles. Because as it stands they would be rendered expensive drakes (just like how the nighthawk is now). |

Who cares what CCP thinks they are bringing it in line iwth. Its getting a large damage boost with selectable damage types for a minor drop in passive tankability (so make the thing a little more active, not like missiles use cap).
They're homogenizing the caldari lineup. Why fly a cerb, or a caracal, if drake does the same thing? Drake would cost less than a cerb, and perform better (more tank, just as much range, same dps, plus drone bay). Drake would cost a little more than a caracal (after they are both t2 fitted, rigged) and have a huge increase in performance.
If CCP decides to fix the merlin, ferox, moa, eagle, cerb, raven (more power grid for raven, torp/cruise explosion velocity fixes), fix the phoenix's explosion velocities, then I'll be ok with a nerf to the drake. Bare minimum cerb/caracal should get buffed.
Oh and ECM doesn't need a nerf. In large fleets it takes coordination to not stack your jams up all on the same targets to be effective (otherwise you're wasting jam power). If ECM is really an issue, then buffing ECCM slightly would be a better alternative.

Change the cerb if you're going to make the drake a cerb, but cheaper and better. (drake currently is a nighthawk, but cheaper) Also, give nighthawk a slight PG boost and a midslot :)
Hopefully the t1 cruisers and teir 1 BC get some love. |
