Introducing the new ratting supercapital ship
Well the Rorqual first came into our hands with very little mention beforehand, and now apparantly CCP slipped us another ship without even telling us! Introducing the new RATTING SUPER CAPITAL
Intel reports suggest that this ship is excellent at controlling large numbers of drones, to vary damage types. This ship is perfect for ratting, it comes with 6 utility high slots. Perfect for tractoring and salvaging those wrecks! It also has plenty of capacitor and has a tanking bonus, and is even immune to electronic warfare, including scrams.
So far, this is our only sighting of this new ultimate ratting ship which sneaked into the latest patch. It was sighted in a belt, doing what it does best.

We caught an Intrepid Crossing carrier ratting in a belt with salvagers and tractors once. They said it was only there to help out a corpmate - forgetting the fact that if he had time to dock and fit tractors/salvagers, he had time to grab a more sensible ship. I mean, I'm not one to tell people what to do with their own ships, but when a T1 fit Raven can rat 3x 1.8m spawns just fine, why would you possibly need a 30bn isk supercap to do it?

Those drones drop a lot of alloys so Aeon/carriers are somewhat useful actually for ratting thanks to their large cargo bay and zero ammo consumption.
Besides if you have an Aeon but no hostiles around, what else you're going to do with it?

I think when I get one... I will fit as many Mining Laser II's on it, and hit the roids.
