for those of you who havent seen the trailer, go watch it!
they said the release would be november but theyve pushed it back to spring. thats fine with me, i wish more companies would do that to ensure the game is good as possible. its really gonna rock!

You do realize the energy required to stop a Deathstar in that amount of space and time could probably power an entire solar system of a trillion people for several centuries, right?
Otherwise, it looks awesome.
Of course, I must damn Lucas to the lowest of the Hells for making it non-PC.
I used to get It. Then It changed. Now I don't even know what It is.

/geek on well, for one its a stardestroyer, not a deathstar. a stardestroyer is not that heavy (comparatively), and is moving slowly through the atmosphere. he pushes it down first (easier, as he is working with gravity), then makes it stop sliding. That would be hard, but he is aided by the fact that it is grinding along an uneven surface that provides friction. /geek off
or is it jus me reading too much into game trailers, and the reason he could stop it was the fact that he is immensly powerful (starwars game franchise fans obviously want to start powerful, and never be weak, i find starting week and gaining power is much more enjoyable.) ~~~~~~ *mods, if you think i'm ugly please say "eeek!"* ~~~~~~ eeeeeekk - Deckard eeeeee...K -Darth Patches gawwwd damn!!1 -zhuge you soo pretty I think you're stunningly handsome and let me just say that you're wearing that dead parrot on your shoulder in a particularly dashing way today. -Hango Your using up all the space hango! - Timmeh |

actually i want to play it because you get to torture stormtroopers in fantastic twisted ways
gameplay
not to mention as time goes on, the DMM and euphoria technologies will become available to other programmers to make awesome games.
the simple fact that all the scenes shown are not pre-animated events and are live examples of how different the game can be every time you play earns it kudos from me.

Is it just me that finds the star destroyer a little off scale to the that dude who stopped it. A bit small if I may say so.
Game looks fine, but theres much better games that will be out there at that time.

Nah...no way. Else we would have had Dart Vader (the strongest force user ever I believe) simply bump Luke's X-Wing into the Death Star and have been done with it.
No freaking way a force user could drag down a Star Destroyer (unless he somehow used the Force to pull the plug on the engines or something...if they put a ship's main reactor in the hangar bay of a cap ship that nukes the whole thing I suppose a simple plug getting yanked out is not too far a stretch).

It's not the pulling down so much as the stopping of the ship in a few hundred feet/meters. Look at the start of Ep3. The front portion of the ship that had that most powerful force user at the controls took a LONG time to come to a stop, plus he had Obi-Wan and Palpatine to help if they had wanted, been able.
It's a silly part that shouldn't have been in it.
I used to get It. Then It changed. Now I don't even know what It is.

I wonder why Darth Vader's apprentice is attacking the Empire.
Hmm, maybe he's just a secret apprentice who has to look independant...bah, I spoiled it for myself.

Lol that looked rubbish. The movements of that star destroyer made it look like it was made in stop motion.
And as far as gameplay goes.......(enters jedi mode)
mass effect will be the game you are looking for

Fnog, you may note that the ship in the trailer was hovering not far off the ground (for a ship) the ship in EP 3 fell from space, adds a lil speed :)
and this must be a concept art from the game

Whatever lore that was in Star Wars to begin with has been gone for a long time, now I just to slaughter people in as many ways as possible with a lightsaber. And that game looks like it'll do the trick. And don't worry, there will be a PC version. They would lose out on too much profit if they decided not to make a PC version. And Lucas wouldn't like that.
