Jita Shopin	Posted - 2007.09.03 18:38:00 - [1] With the onset of factional warfare and the addition of Medals. should there be a reward for hitting the +10 to your faction ? There is already a reward at 3 tiers (frig, cruiser, BS) So should there be an extra reward for +10 ? Each Race has its own special ship - Tribal Tempest, Federate Issue Mega, Raven State Issue, Apoc Imperial Issue. Could maybe these be used to reward the +10 Medals do seem to be CCPs new flavor of the month but will a medal have enough bragging rights and wil it be handed out by a specific agent ? What about a negative side ? Should +10 ultimate standing bring ultimate doom in hostile space ? Faction Navy ships atm are pretty much a joke and you can run rings around then in a frig. they are more of an anoyance than a deterrent. Alot of people have recently come forward and complained that part of the game has been cut off and you cant redeem yourself to enemy factions. should +10 totally exclude you from the full oposite faction soverignty ? (Minmater Vs Amarr / Gallente Vs Caldari) What else could be done to maybe reward those of highest esteem or how can we totally punish those who chose to destroy our empire ? In fact, the factions should give this kind of missions every time you hit 6.0/7.0/8.0, etc. The higher you get, the better the medal. Of course, the best medals should be kept for the RP peeps. Contralto Gallente Department Of Health and Social Security	Posted - 2007.09.04 03:27:00 - [8] Afaik it is not possible to get a perfect 10, due to the way increases are calculated. if you see a character with 10 displayed,(there are a few) it is just the display, the actual figure will be 9.998734 or some thing similar. so at what point would it be decided that you should be awarded? 9.99? I am at 9.97 and have done many storylines since I hit that figure. Who knows what my actual unrounded standing is!. I have a feeling that eventually after many months I will reach 9.99 and that will be it for years to come. I would like the reward to be one of the upcoming T2 mission running BS. fitting since it was missions that gave me the high standings. but not at 10

I would agree that in actual fact it may be 9.999999999999999999999999 or some **** like that but when you show info on a character you see his/her base standing and not their effective. If you see them as +10 then thats 10 as far as i see it. Ive met 2 people who show as +10 and been reliably informed that there are others Id vote for a Tribal Tempest :) but i kinda feel it should be at least something. The discount thing had some merit too :)

From XX.XX This is for every standing on your char sheet as well. Im not sure when they changed it but i remember when you could see your standings to much more decimal places than the current .XX It is good though cause you actually get some form of endgame. On the other hand its kinds ****** up cause of the storyline gains to corp. and your storylines agents corp will skyrocket up to 10 in a very few set of missions . . . . . but thats just a "feature"

Contralto Gallente Department Of Health and Social Security	Posted - 2007.09.04 12:46:00 - [13] So with "10" becoming common place the next question is does anyone have both related factions maxed out? your not far off Mikel and other characters with a "10" I have seen still have the second faction at the base 8.00 I am working on my Minmatar at the moment but I fear the burnout factor will intervene and slow me down. OT how come Angel gold tags cost so much compared to Serp? at market prices the tags are worth almost as much as the Stabbers. I have high buy orders in 6 regions with only 1 sucsess so far. Working on it atm but yes the burnout factor is high. BTW i also need 20 serp golds :/ but golds are higer due to availability.
