If I can be heard over the mob of ugly trolls I would like to extend a great big thank you to the devs/GM's/CCP and EVE TV for arranging this tournament and also sending it all to us for absolutely free. Dont do what MC did and let the trolls get to you. There are tens of thousands watching and maybe 10-15 trolling. Unfortunatly they are very audiable. Again, thank you very much for giving us EVE WORLD CUP 1-2 times a year \o/

/signed You guys are doing a fantastic job and I would also like to thank you (and also the alliance teams that have entered) for all the hard work you've obviously put into it.
Shame about the trolls.

Care to release some of those numbers? (Even if they are rough estimates) I'm actually curious about how many people are watching.
Also, The alliance tournament is pure win (again) ♥ u EVE-TV It's serious sometimes, but enough fun there to make us realize it's still a hell of a game instead of reality (/weh demand moahr shoe on head )

I'll say thanks for allowing us pilots to show our skills in front of the whole of EVE. Without EVETV, there wouldn't be this opportunity for people such as myself.

Totally /signed for the OP.
You've got to remember to keep your forum guard up when reading these forums. Some posts are blatant trolling, and should just be ignored. Some is just ribbing, taking the mick, and generally doing what we EVE peeps do to each other. Some might even turn out to be constructive criticism.
Despite a few mistakes here and there, I've got to say that this is the best Tourney so far. The fights have been fun to watch, the guests on EVE TV have been entertaining, the production value's have been a great mix of laid back and professional, and the streams have behaved relatively well (with uploaded replays hot on their tale).
Keep it up! ------

Agreed 100%
Thanks to the players who have volunteered their services to provide coverage of the tournament and those taking part in it.
Have any of those trolling morons who have nothing better to do than make snide comments about others stepped up to the plate and said give me a go? I very much doubt it. They just hide behind a toon and flap their gobs, adding nothing but verbal diarrhoea to the forums.
Keep up the good work guys and gals. Most of us do appreciate what you are doing for the game we enjoy. ==================

/signed and /signed again.
I have throughly enoyed the tournament so far. Well run and well organized. I also think the play-by-play commentary and panels have done very well.
It is a cool technical achievment as well.
My only complaint, really, is this does not happen more often (although if it did we'd probably end up driving half the CCP staff involved into alcohol rehab).

Yeah, thanks a ton to EVE-TV, CCP, the experts who volunteered thier time and all the teams involved.
The only downside was that it pretty much ruined our weekly sunday mining op, since we were all watching the matches, lookin up ships we'd never heard of and computer chair quarterbacking. =D

I love it

I would also like to thank the whole team for another new and improved Tourny :) We need a fast roaming anti troll bashers bashing fleet... ! I mean 203k of logins to see the matches thats awesome !! it needs to go to cable or sky, I bet there are more people watching the EvE PvP tourny than some of those snafu'd game/gamers shows.

I have seen all (the broadcasted) tournament so far and always enjoyed watching them.
Beside the trolling & drama on the boards, the show is absolutely fantastic and I love every minute of it.
Thanks to all involved, from the players, to EVE -TV, commentators, CCP and all the people I might have missed.
While its a pitty to miss more MC fights, we should accept their decision.

Login don't necessarily mean the broadcast was actually watched. A few of us logged in from Australia and got some sound and the occasional frozen picture frame
Any chance of setting up another server some time for the 'rest of the world' that is a little closer than the USA?
