Reminds me of a few days ago in BKG.
My claw got killed in a fight, I warp off in my pod to planet and land next to a hostile tempest. Since I had no implants, I decided to stay there a bit and report its position first.
Tempest targets me, scratches my pod with a 1400mm cannon, but I survive and warp off.
At the pos I noticed that I had only a 900k basic clone.

You do realize the amount of failage that would be if you actually died, right?

This work is orginally created in School of Applied knowledge over 2 years ago. I believe myself and perhaps Del Nervaux to be one of the last players still playing of that orginal group.
It was kept safe in our bios (or so we thought till the bio nerf) so that we could easily point nooblets to something conrete before they started bombarding us with the same questions over and over again. We'd tell them to read that first then to come ask us questions...

26 things I learned early that every newb should know (in no particular order of importance)
1) Do the training missions
2) Do not sink all your life's savings into the biggest, baddest ship you can get because there is always something bigger and badder and when you meet it you WILL lose everything all at once.
3) Keep your old ships. You may need them to earn money to replace the new ship you just made go boom
4) In Sure Ance
5) Keep your clones updated. You can replace money and the things it buys, but you cannot replace the time spent training skills.
6) Train learning skills as much and as fast as possible. In fact, until you have the adv ones to lvl 4 dont train ANYTHING else that you dont NEED to survive.
7) Weapons dont fire when warping
