Can someone please critique me on my setup so I don't loose this very expensive cruiser 30 minutes after leaving the station?
Highs: 3 x 200rails t2; covert ops cloak Med: 3 x Muon Damps; YT8 MWD; Med Cap booster t2(800s); t2 dsrpt Lows: SAR t2; Mag F Stab t2; DC t2; Signal Amp t2
I have Recon lvl 4
any help would be appreciated

The only thing I'd really change is the lows.. Go for speed - Overdrive II and 2 Nano IIs.. Last slot you can use for another Overdrive, DCU, MFS, or SAR.. Upgrading to a T2 MWD certainly wouldn't hurt either.. Speed and distance are what keeps an Arazu alive..
Also 400s do just fine for the injector.. Keeps the cap flowing well enough.. If you are getting hit by a neut, then you're dead anyway..

go for 2x ODs and 2x Nanos in the lows. You can't tank the thing, so just use speed to dictate range. I've also seen 2x OD and 2x CPR work well.

With the Signal Amp II, i was hoping for a little better locking time, but after playing with it i see it's pretty minuscule. As for the rest, speed huh?! ok, thats what it shall be. :) I can do speed.
My only reasoning for the little bit of tank was to be able to hold off drones while mine blow up the oppositions drones attacking me.

Cap and Distance are the key to the Arazu. my set up is
Hi: 3 x 200mm Rail Gun II, Cov Ops Cloak II Med: 10mn MWD(which ever one you like), SS war disruptor(26km base, 46km with recon 4), and then 4 x phased muons. Low: Mar II, DC II, and 2 x cap power relay II.
I have only lost one Arazu, and this set up works wonders. You can tackle one target keep two supressed, and move away. cap stays at a decent level, but DPS from a recon is like asking for a real train for Christmas.

speed doesnt work.
go for a small tank so you can tank drones for a while, and 4 RSD are optimal so you can damp 2 ships.

personaly I fit
3x 250mm t2 rails with caldari antimatter 1 cover op cloak t2 named 10 mn mwd or 10Ab t2(for mission ganking) 3 best named damps, 1 t2 or faction warp disuptor, 1 domi scrambler(cheap, and u get 2p-20km scrambler)
low: medium armor rep(need faction/cosmos if u got mwd fitted), 3 cap relay t2
drone bay : 4 hammerheads t2
rigs: 2 damp rigs
Damps a target down to 4.5km with 3 damps. He got aprox 1 min lock time to lock u if u get under 4.5km. Longer for ure drones. but remeber to pull em in each 40 sec aprox to avoid him able to lock em. if he gets lock on em with his drones...be rly carefull sending em back to ure dronebay, cause u prob gonna get autoagressed by his drones then. so sometimes u need to secrifice ure drones, not pulling em back. However...jsut retrack em now and then and u avoid it:)
Sit at 13-15km at pwnd em. if he moves a lot orbit him as slow as u can.

forget the TANK, go full damage! if you are tanking youre dead anyway...
3mag stab t2, sensor booster in mid 3 250mm t2 with spike
lock sensordam, scram , kill

yeah, well, even with full gank setup, arazu cant do much. U can get probably tanked by brutix, not to mention myrm.
So arazu is only good for poping lower tiers cruisers and such while u'll have tracking problems with AF or even fast frigs.
Arazu is there to track enemy down and to get a warpin point. from that on, it is only additional dps for whole gang.
Arazu is simply not solo ship like any cloaker isnt. U always preffer having somekind of tank on it, so i can tank those pesky drones in case of target already launching them when i attack. Then i just need to wait for my gang to arrive with either enough DPS to pop target fast or with good tracking to eat his drones and then slowly wear him off..
so, said that i fit: 3x 250mm rail II (spike/plutonium), cloak mwd II, 24km scram (43km with skills), 3x dampers II, cap recharger II SAR II, EANM II, DCU II.
rigs: explosive one, and CCC i think, not sure
5x warrior II, 1x small ECM drone, 1X medium ECM drone
