Since like sunday there has been a Zors hyperlink on contracts for 15mill, not a bad price so tried repeatidly to buy it but kept failing.....presumed it was lag
Tried for the past few days same contract..same result so though WTF's going on checked the info on the seller, Gbberish name, sec status +6.1 and member of know isk farmer corps.
So could it be because hes banned is why its failing?

Some farmers have 7+ sec status.

some weeks ago i petitioned an issue where i was trying to create a contract and it kept failing but the gm was at as much of a loss as i was so he asked me to file a bug report which i did
i filed the report as clearly and exactly as i possibly could but i got some stupid answer along the lines of "you havent written it properly" so instead of wasting my time with incompetant ccp representatives i repeated the contract over and over until i could reproduce the bug
turns out 3 of the new hardwires from the lp shop were causing the problem and once they were taken out the contract worked fine
if your accepting this contract and you get the status bar and then nothing happens this is very similar to what happened for me and i would guess its a related problem
of course i could be completely wrong

I happen to know a legitimate player who has +8ish sec status. Makes me cry at the months of mission running he's put himself through to get that high.
On the side, however, he finds mission running to be more fun than PvP
