just a note to the ccp staff since you are ignoring the 100's of petitions

ive spoken to a good 60-80 players now and they have all experiance the same senario since you have deployed the lastest patch there is a weird ug or somthing with crashing ..

myself and 5 mates we all in the systems of kw-o when we got into a fire fight we all disconected not at the same time though all in a 20 secs time zone .. but that wasnt the strangest part .. when we relogged into eve .. we began the warp back to where we lost connection only to dissconect on arrival .. now this happen 4 times to EACH OF US SIMULTAINUSLY 3 of the guys lost ships due to it .. no ive spoken to alot of players and like ive said previously between 60-80 players have experianced this and lost ships ..

any hows the most annoying part to the whole story is these poor players who have to sc*****together all this isk to get new ship s after they had petitioned their losses and tried to explain the bugg ..

here are just some of the replys my friends had

 Hi,

Thank you for contacting customer support. I am afraid that in this case, we are unable to reimburse your ship. Our reimbursement policies are very strict, and unless we are able to verify in our server side logs that the loss was the result of a bug or error within the game or server, our hands are tied with regards to providing any reimbursement.

Please refer to our reimbursement policy page for more information:

 http://www.eve-online.com/pnp/reimbursment.asp

Our apologies for any inconvenience you may have suffered because of this.

 Best regards,

 Hi

We are sorry to hear about your ship loss. Unfortunately we are unable to reimburse the ship as our server-side logs do not indicate that a bug/error within the game or a server related problem was the reason for your loss. This does not mean that we doubt your description of events in any way but I'm afraid it keeps our hands tied in regards to reimbursement.

Our reimbursement policies are very strict and we can only reimburse if we are able to verify that a bug or server error caused the loss. We hope that you understand our position and that you will recover swiftly from the loss.

 Best Regards,

these may be polite but they arnt bloody helpfull

why should we spend hours a week making isk to play a game that kills you and then pretty much laughs in your face when you tell them game staff about bugs

I have lost a small fleet of ships to this bug. Always the Same thing happens, Eve Crashes to desktop, then everytime you try to warp back in, you enter warp, then crash to desktop again. Happens 3 or 4 times in a row. The most annoying thing is that sometimes you dont actuly warp out, you just sit there floating in space next to what ever was shooting you.

I dont mind losing ships, as I other lose alot of them, but loseing them just becuse there is a bug in the game is rather annoying. Please try to fix, as I like to think of this game as something semi stable, compaired to most others MMORPGs.

It's not a problem with the server, it's a client side issue.

I'm guessing you might have sound enabled, disable it.

LOL yeh i have same problem like Wolfen King.

Turning off sound helps . I am afraid that the latest efford to solve the sound bugs only made the problem bigger a lot bigger :(
But i am happy to see that the finaly try someting to fix this long lasting problem.

 I hope this helps a little :

What's atrocious is if the bug is client-side, according to CCP it falls on the user to not only recreate and log this error (which is usually completely random and extremely difficult to recreate without running logs for several hours), but to submit detailed reports with attached logs to the GMs so they can prevent future issues. CCP even goes to state that if you were somehow successful in doing this, it would bear no weight in their decision to (or not to) reimburse any ships you lost.

IMHO this is pure, unadulterated bull****. Why should the users be responsible for fixing their software? Last I checked I purchased the rights to use a working version of the client software. One would assume that if it wasn't working, the problems would be addressed and I would be reimbursed accordingly, to compensate purchasing a substandard product. I did not expect to be told to f*** off unless I have proof.

BTW CCP I wouldn't mind an update to my three-week-old petition.
