Probably best to post a bit about me and then what I'm looking for.
Me:
18 mill SP pilot, mainly trained for frig/cruiser sized ships (can fly Minnie/Gal, Intys/AF's, cruisers, Minnie HAC's (still need to train up a couple more skills before I do though).
The majority of my time in Eve to date has been pretty much living in empire as a carebear while I build up funds and train up skills. I spent a short time in a 0.0 corp before the alliance it was in fell apart. I have had some experience with solo/small gang piracy so not a complete newb but do not claim to know the PvP side of the game inside and out (yet).
I'm in the EU timezone and can use vent or TS. I also have a second account with a 14mill ish SP mining/logistics (Can fly a basalisk and has most cap and shield transfer skills at 5) alt which is inactive at the moment (I will reactivate it in the future but it will be trained in the direction of logistics/covert ops pilot and not mining).
What I'm looking for:
Basically an established, friendly corp that does regular small gang op's and an active player base.
I'm not overly interested in large blob/POS warfare so would like to avoid it if I can. Like I said I'm no expert in PvP so would like to join a corp that is willing to teach.
If it is a 0.0 based corp then I would prefer somewhere which has a good local market or industrial backing to make buying/fitting new ships easier (Have spent time in 0.0 space with no local market and it is not fun having to haul everything you need from empire space).
I DONT need free ships/mods, etc. I expect to lose ships and I have no problem with replacing them myself when I do (as long as I dont have to travel 40+ jumps to do so :) ).
Ideally I would like a corp with a NBSI policy which doesnt have anything against low sec piracy (I'm flexible about this if there are plenty of targets).

We're trying to recruit mostly very 0.0 experienced PvPers at the moment, but we have trained people before, and at least one director doesn't mind doing so, so you could give Omerta Syndicate a shot.

Hey there Duranis :)
We cover all of that. 0.0 PVP, Curse, markets, regualr roaming ops, no poses of blobs. We build stuff our own gear and live out of NPC stations.
We hav all the usual killboards, forums, ts and website (link to the website in my sig)

feel free to message myself or Drider Deluxe and we can talk.
Our corp/allaince offers possibly the most volatile region in eve right now, outposts available for use, LOTS of pvp - blue to TRI and not many others - action is guaranteed, and fleet battles are guaranteed. Daily roaming gangs for PVP and secure space to rat in if you need to fall back for isk. No drone region/npc region stuff.
We are experienced PVP'ers, we expect our pilots to follow orders well and be able to field fleet fitted BS (150k+ snipers), but also allow you the freedom to chase your own goals when we're not involved in op's. We also have an industrial wing to help with various industrial duties in the corp, but are also allowed to mine and create ship/modules for personal use.
As long as there are people left in eve, we will fight.

Hi Duranis.
I would like to invite you to come have a talk with Northern Intelligence.
I was once in the same situation as you, being mostly in Empire and worried about joining a corp where you are just a number. And an alliance that is hell bent on breaking its pilots.
POS wars I agree are rather tedious... but it is often the case of if it must be done, it must be done.
We do both the small gangs suited to the ships you are able to pilot, as well as larger gangs.
We do not shoot neutrals in lowsec, but we have plenty of targets in zerosec.

Thanks for the interest everyone and for taking the time to contact me both here and in game. I have now found a new home with a corp that looks to be just about perfect for me. There was lots of interesting offers but I think I have found the right one.
