With the amount of participants going down to 16, and having them seen all in action, we can make an good guess on who is going to win the alliance tournament.
These are the 16 finalists in a randomish order. You can vote for them by clicking on the link (one vote per IP allowed). Sooooo:

There are a lot of good teams left, and I suspect that we are in for many surprises to come.
Looking through the list of who is left there are very few that I don't think can win in the end.

The rounds eliminated a lot of good other alliances, and what is left now is only the best. I think we are in for quite a show, loads of good fights. I do think BoB is going to make it far, but i hope they won't win again, just for the suprise

atlas seem to be one of the only teams I've seen that haven taken a good set up and ruined it with bad tactics *cough* us *cough*
so I kinda think they can bring it to the table.
as long as they don't use a smartbomb FoF set-up, which is officially the worst thing to field ever :P

if nothing goes horribly wrong we will see BoB vs CI at 18:20.
that will be an awesome fight!
i think semifinal would then bee Ronin vs CI.
and then CI wins the final.

Something DID go horribly wrong!
They changed the schedule. Updated schedule here.
BoB will now probably fight IAC in the quarter finals. That will be an very interesting fight...

On the other end, there should be C-I vs Atlas in the semi.
FIVE might upset that, but I rate them with no chance of winning the tournament.
So the winner is either C-I or BoB with Atlas as a small outsider chance.
Am I forced to have any regret?

Yes and no. Yes if it's put into context. I'm completely shocked about BoB.
If you have a spy @ MASS forums or ask TWD for my rambling in my eve-mail response, you'd already know that...
I'm almost mad at how in prior tournaments, some very strong teams have gone out stomping in the groups with their pilot skill, SP and isk-backing - but completely lacking the wit, tactics and strategy to have any chance at going all the way.
Based on this, I wrote off for example MC and IAC long before the tourney started. And I had my doubts about if C-I and UDIE had learned from last tourney. C-I showed that they had, so I rate them highly. UDIE, the jury is still out on them, but they have "easy" opponents up to semi.
Red Skull, and many other teams, also fell into being oh soo predictable.
Atlas is that of the teams I knew little about that impressed most in the groups, but obviously they did an epic failure in the first match today. Also gave P-L a small chance after the first 3 days.
From "our" group, I was very dissapointed after MASS' "failure" vs FATAL + points deduction. Your team, the FIVE, has looked pretty solid (hence why you're mentioned above), but I rly didn't see you compete with either of BoB or C-I, neither on tactics or SP.
I expected TWD to have at least one, probably two, "unused" setups sitting in the hangars ready to be fielded today. So I'm rly out of words for TWD fielding the same team.
Ofc, BoB crashing out of the tourney changes things quite alot.
My isk is ofc on C-I now.
Am I forced to have any regret?

Right, UDIE obviously hadn't learned. Still impressive displays up to the semi (as said above).
C-I, quite a dissappointment in the semi (and that's lenient to say).
PL got a bit lucky with the Scorp managing to hug the ishtars from the start, but rly good playing and a worthy spot in the finals.
HUN is the major surprised. A rly good setup they came up with, but ppl should have been able to adapt and kill them by now. That said, they've done it very well and without adapting opponents they clearly deserve to be there.
Personally, I'm quite surprised to not see any team come out with the turtle of 2x guardians + 2x curse + more that MASS showed off in the groups. With that team ofc loaded with ECCM as well, I think that with matches now being 20 min it would have killed pretty much all of the setups on show in the final stages
