I've got an idea i just cooked up in my head about training multiple skills at once (and a skill for being able to do it of course.
I have no idea what it would be called (Multi Training, Broad Learning, Open Horizons, Jack of All Trades....w/e).
Essentially, my idea it for a skill that allows you to train multiple skills at once, at significantly reduced speeds.
At top level, i see this skill increasing your total sp/h capacity by 5%. However i'd imagine i it would be a fairly high sp-requirement skill, perhaps rank 6-10?
Here's how it works
1: Just an opener to the tree, maybe 101% on one skill? Open to suggestions here.
2: Allows the training of up to two skills at a time, each skill will be trained at 51% usual speed.
3: 3 skills at a time, 34% speed per skill.
4: 4 skills at a time, 26% speed per skill.
5: 5 skills at a time, 21% speed per skill.
As you can see, this would allow characters to train multiple skills at a time, for a slight bonus in sp/h, but a large loss in time taken.
I personally tend to try to skill a bit for everything (mainly cus i want to try everything without having umpteen accounts before i specialise).
It would also allow people like myself to take holidays without having to set one vaguely useful skill that's gunna take ages just because it's the only one i have ready to train for X weeks (hypothetical i'm not going anywhere )
Discuss! Completely open to suggestions and constructive criticism. (If it's ****, tell me why!)

Imo this skill would be a buff to the older players, and wouldn't really help the newer players
They should just let us train a few skills at a time anyway (provided they are the same primary/secondary attributes) so it would take say 1/2 the time to train them, but 2 would train at same time

CCP has already said that they regret making the learning skills and now you want them to add more?

Because it's as boring as hell. There's nothing worse spending days on end training a skill with no apparent short term effects (as opposed to it letting you fly a new ship, use new equipment or increase your ship's overall capability, or any of the industrial stuff as well) that heavily penalizes you in the long term if you don't train it. It basically forces you to stall your progress for at least a month if you ever plan on playing for a long time.

The only real thing that i would find useful would be the following:
Let's say i start trining interdictors lvl 1 ... when it finishes it automatically continues to lvl 2 and so on until lvl 5 has been finished ... then it stops. this way it would be easier to to train certain skills you need even if you know you will be away for some time. (aka i don't need to train a lvl 5 skill while i'm gone that i won't use anyway instead i can train a skill from lvl 1 to lvl 4 in that time that i find more useful)
