OK here's goes....
Yes i fly Raptor and the Crow, I just dont see point of the raptor, I have tried many different setups on it which includes a Blaster raptor with mwd or 150mm rails setup with AB....AB isnt the best idea as missiles well Pwn you in matter of mins, havin split system on the raptor just doesnt work...
If you tried using 125mm or 150mm rails on a raptor with mwd you move to fast to hit anything i even tried 75mm rails , point is rails do **** all damage as the missiles do better damage then the rails do, but blaster raptor with missiles works alright but its not fast enough and dies fast in close range combat comapre to other ceptors with close range turrents ceptors..
So i do ask whats the point of Raptor and its split system and its low speed as its slowest ceptor in game, i think they need change it to havin bonus in damage and lose the laucnher high points so its can have 3 or 4 rails or blasters,
any helpful or opions on this like to see, i dont want hear used this ceptor or used crow , this is just about the raptor

Well see, the Raptor is meant to be one of those Caldari gun boats. And you'll see across the Caldari range, apart from the Rokh, that they fail at having a sufficient ammount of turret hardpoints.

I use my raptor for an uber cheap/throwaway fast scout.
For combat, it' useless

You people are just spoiled by your overpowered Crows, thats the real problem here.
You fly a pwnmobile all day and then try an Interceptor that is more in line with the other races and you think it sucks. 
FYI Raptor has its uses, its actually a pretty solid dogfighter if you use its bonuses to your advantage. I have beat Beamsaders and Railranises in mine.

Still not the info I'm looking for about the raptor and its split system, and Im not having a cry about i'm just more trying workout whats the usefull of raptor since rails have ****ty tracking when your orbiting with speed of 3 - 4k ms..
only thing you can do is used blasters which brings you under 10km range, we all know 150m rails or 125mm rails wont hit with good dps flying that speed...?

you can buy and fit one for 10mil. it works great as a shuttle (warps at ~14au/s) and can tackle.
but thats it really.

My bad, it is indeed 13,5. Its the crow who does 9.
But there you go. Only proves my point i suppose.
The raptor also comes with a nice small pricetag, with the wonders of T2.
But the only thing the raptor does better, is the warp speed(Maybe also comic value)

craptor isn't very good at combat - but it's fast adn a good interceptor with locktimes, warpspeeds etc

I ahve never beaten a beam sader with a kestrel, i have wtpwned more than one rapter though....
the only thing not vanilla tech I was the launchers ( I used malkuths)

Imo best way to fix it is to rename it to cRAPTOR. And while your at it rename ares to ARSE. See, 2 ****tiest ceptors fixed with 1 move :)

i use raptor for tackling and crow for fighting. Raptor can target faster, warp faster. so for tackling purpose only.
crow on the other hand is the combat inty.
I can target a recon when he jumps to myside before he cloaks which i cant with my crow
