If it was that simple they would have done it already.
Its easyer to do if the site is based in the USA/Euro its simple but the problem is there in area's like china and CCP can't touch them there.
The problem is player made and needs to be fixed by the player's after all CCP is trying there best to stop it but with so many account's trading massive ammout's of isk its hard slow work as not all are isk sellers. !

Well I just thought about one thing that could at least hinder ISK sellers a bit.
How about limiting trial accounts so that you can't post URL links in chat channels while you're on trial? Just replace everything with www. in it by ***.
That limitation wouldn't really hurt trial acc players' gameplay. I mean, most of the time older chars post some helpful URLs to help trials, not the other way around. And if trial players want to help each other, they could still open a convo or perhaps evemail each other. Or write the URL with ww. or withour www. The thing is, without a proper URL link, many spams would go unnoticed. No orange text, no link to click on. Well, hopefully..

That's a possibility, reducing freedom of deplacement of trial accounts in the channels or reducing their ability to speak on channel is another.
Anyway, it is not up to us to come with solutions, we don't know what are the possibilities of ccp software and equipment, so we can't come with more than mere suggestions. And from my experience, the suggestions are only welcome when they are asked for.
But what we can do is to voice our concern, as customers, about a situation that isn't satisfying from a legit gamer point of view. This is what i did, and i hope that ccp will take into account the legitimate demands of its customers and look into the matter.
thanks

I'd be pretty happy if CCP discontinued the ability for trial accounts to send mail. I get a deluge of iskmail daily, and my block list of isk sellers is well over 500. Petitioning doesn't even really do anything. GMs can't kill these people faster than they can breed new accounts.
Makes me wonder if the trial program itself is going to get the boot. Leave it to the @#(*@$ of the world to ruin it for decent people.

Doesn't matter. CCP needs to change something.
If they wanted to, they could eliminate 90% of chinese farmers in a single day. They don't want to. These farmers constitute at least 30% of the subscriber base. If you do not believe me- travel around different systems/regions more and you will easily be able to see thousands upon thousands of chinese farmers on at the same time.
These guys are CCP's most loyal customers. They will stick around as long as the game is active. People that complain about macro's? Well, they might be gone in a couple months.

Yes. Eliminate trial accounts. Create a server for game trials. Or a money back policy - unless one violates the EULA. And for God's sake, disable mining barges whose pilot belongs in a NPC corp.

simply hindering npc corps wouldnt work. These guys sell ISK, I'm pretty sure they could afford to make their own corporations. "but then we can war dec them" sure, you can war dec them, and the next corp they make and the next corp they make, until you hit the privateer nerf. I think you should be able to use mods one encounter per day on anyone without concord intervention (but still get aggro from them) as long as you do no damage. I'd go afk if I could lockdown a macro. Plus you are hurting them by stopping them from making money. If its not a macro, then you could be attacked. If it is a macro, they won't be making any money sitting in one spot. CCP obviously isn't doing anything about the macro's themselves. I've petitioned and petitioned obvious macros, to no avail. They are more worried about new stuff to attract more people than to fix current problems. They stopped the privateers from having their fun, but fleet engagements (which they advertise is great) still suffers from the lag and desynchs. Then it comes down to the better computers in the engagements (exploit?) They need to start actually looking at the petitions and working on them, rather than the same ol view it>close it>move on>open the next petition. If they want to stop it, they need to make a move to enforce it rather than just waiting for it to be sold. Petitions are there for a reason CCP, maybe they should be investigated, rather than closed and filed in file 13. I blocked 2 macros (out of the 5 or 6) for about 15 minutes coming out of a dock with a mammoth. They come out in packs, all born on the same day, and all warp to the ice field in mackinaws, do their thing, then return to dock, rinse and repeat. They are on 23/7, but evidently the petitions do not matter as long as someone is paying to play the game, they can macro all the want. -Cheevs |

A few facts
- a 90 day GTC cost me $40 US - some isk sellers are selling 1 billion isk for $40 US - a 90 day(3 month) GTC sells on forums for 400 million isk, a 30 day(1 month) for 180 - 200 million isk
all one would have to do is buy 1 billion isk, go and buy two 90 day and one 30 day GTCs with that isk you would end up with spending $40 US for 7 months of game play that's why there are so many isk buyers and sellers, it's cheeper to buy the isk then change to GTC that to buy the GTC from CCP or another re-seller(ShatteredCrystal) it's simple economics...

Originally by: KenDoll makes me wonder if some ccp folks arent selling isk themselve's, would be an easy extra income.
In Lineage 2 there is bot program and if your legit user (Not using pirated copy of that bot program) you will never get caugth but if your using pirated version, you will get caugth and banned. Makes me wonder if Devs have created or helped create this program and NCSoft gets their cut
CCP permits only legit ISK sales (GTC) and thus don't want others to come in their market. Simply money talks bull**** walks stuff here people.

Surely the reason there are so many spammers nowadays is because the GTC system is working and the Isk sellers profits are being effected, meaning that they need to advertise more to keep there sales up.... |
