I've heard about it before but how do I find this Shaqil's Speed Enhancer ingame? There are a few items in contracts starting with Shaqil but the hardwiring isn't among them. It also doesn't show up when you try to autolink to it.

I find it curious that, given the lack of AB or MWD, the guardian pilots chose Snakes over Halos. Can any of the CCP team offer commentary on that?

Because the speed actually helps you more than the lowered sig radius when you have such a small sig radius to beginwith.

Excellent all-Amarr setup Fendahl (with no laser ships ).
There is one issue with your Guardian setup -- the use of N-type energized membranes is less than ideal. The following low-slot configuration yields better resistances and higher effective armor HP. It still fits with your high/mid slot layout with 0.5 cpu to spare.

Some rather hard COSMOS mission I believe.
The reason they shot up in price is because the missions got nerfed so you can only do them once per character now. At least that's how ze story goes ... -----

Exactly, we didn't know if we'd land close or far away, and if we'd landed far away we might have had to travel some distance to get in lock range (damn those sensor damps). Moving over more then about 20km in 2x Guardians would just be a painful experience without the snakes.

What do you mean with "won the championship"?
You can't possibly win it with just using one single setup throughout the tournament. And there are multiple counters to all setups.
For example, this setup would probably have been slaughtered by the 2x guardian and 2x curse combo that MASS used in the groups (given that they wouldn't be able to stay out of curse range all match). Seing as the guardians here only ran 2 energy transfers each, and without any other ship involved in the cap orgy they're obviously vulnerable to enemy setups draining the guardians.
Then there are ofc setups that simply brake the damage they can tank. Just a simple 10x thorax could do that, especially with some luck in jamming.
And it's ofc beatable from long range as well. As long as you have a "heavy" ship to draw most of the bomber fire. For example a remote-repped lachesis to keep the bombers dampened. Taking your time to kill off the repair drones and getting a lucky jam and boom the first guardian is gone and team broken.
and on and on and on. Am I forced to have any regret? I've become the lie, beautiful and free In my righteous own mind I adore and preach the insanity you gave to me |

As this implant says "targeting speed" in the description box, but gives a targeting range bonus, it'll be changed soon, right?
Nice play on the auto targeters. I didn't think of it until the second weekend.

The damage output is 1340hp/s with Dread Guristias Paradise (16242hp volley damage), though our default setup did 1301hp/s (15778hp volley damage) since we used one Purifier to probe resists.
Originally by: Hllaxiu Why did you go with snakes over halos on the logistics?
Like BlackHorizon and Zulupark hinted at, the Guardians are the slowest ships in the group, so they limit the speed of the group. The Guardians can only guarantee a lock range of a few km without remote sensor boosters, so all ships must stay tightly together at all times. The remote sensor boosters give a lot of flexibility, though. For instance, the Curse can be boosted to a minimum of 32km with 4 remote sensor boosters vs. any number of Mauluses. The remote sensor boosters also came in handy at the end of the fight where the last two Mauluses were sitting beyond 100km and dampening the Purifiers so they couldn't lock. By remote sensor boosting two of the Purifiers we were able to get a lock on them and take them down.

'Refuge' Adaptive Nano Plating I is even better than the Adaptive Nano Plating II. The same is true of the 'Element' Magnetic Plating I (kinetic) versus its metalevel 5 counterpart.
