Edited by: Vegeta on 12/02/2004 00:56:17 I have a few questions for the Eve Community, i would like you to answer them honestly without including any flaming or trolling. They are only questions i personally would like answered but not my corp or corpmates, just things ive been thinking about.
1. What do you think of m0o corp?
2. How big an impact would you say m0o corp has had on your eve experience?
3. Who do you think is the most effectivepvp corp in eve at the moment?
4. How would you feel about it if m0o corp no longer existed tomorrow?

I will be honest....
1. Ok, but a bit full of it on the boards.
2. Stops me doing a deep space run now and again.
3. Omega or Evol
4. Shame as they make life interesting...but less gate ganking in A2 would make life less repetitive

1. What do you think of m0o corp? ooc - Generally cool guys who play the game to have fun. ic - scum :)
2. How big an impact would you say m0o corp has had on your eve experience? Not much, but Rev and j0rt were the first peeps to pod me.
3. Who do you think is the most effective pvp corp in eve at the moment? Either you or Evol - wouldn't mind seeing an all in brawl between the 2 of you.
4. How would you feel about it if m0o corp no longer existed tomorrow? Not particularly fussed, the last time you guys left a few other corps took up the slack. It would be sad to see some of you go, but in the end - most peeps would forget about you until you came back again. ----------- "Remember people: Omber is the biggest evil ever created, DO NOT let it get to you!" Why does Veg ask a question if he doesen't want an answer? m0o are a bunch of battleship queens (nothing wrong with that) but if you place:
Kills X Resources employed / Resources Lost then m0o woulden't excel.

LOL
I respect (most of) m0o. As shown last time when they went AWOL others quickly moved into their "niche" although only a selected few could now enter the niche of alliance buggering.
But these questions are funny, sound just like the Gallup calls I get once in a while.

1. What do you think of m0o corp? A very good combat corp. Most of the members are nice guys and a few are *******s (as most corps).
2. How big an impact would you say m0o corp has had on your eve experience? Ingame? None directly to me (oh well, Stav interupted me while I was chaining once, but left before I had switched to PvP gear). Some indirectly through alliance-mates getting blown up.
3. Who do you think is the most effectivepvp corp in eve at the moment? EVOL, m0o or CoC (but they are based so far from me, so it's hard for me to really know). Groups of players in some other corps are more effective, but as the corp as a whole...
4. How would you feel about it if m0o corp no longer existed tomorrow? Not much at all. But sad if the players in m0o left the game (except some mentioned in answer 1).
There you go. I even responded like you wanted me to, despite the "look at me"-syndrome.

1) Used to fight them in the other ring region backin the day¦s on my other char, when j0rt and co. had thorax¦s before everybody. Good times :] Respect but I still wouldnt hesitate to shoot u guy¦s heh. Mara/passari blockade is something u wont forget. 2) Had my first pvp exp. against them and SINC, lost my first BS to shollos and co., after that there was no returning from me, most fun i thing i had ever done in EVE :] 3) Well judge-ing by these board¦s: EVOL, OC and m0o. By my exp. i would say.. some of the CA corp¦s put up good fight¦s, nuff said :] 4) Cant say about that one.. who would the carebear¦s complain about?

1) m0o add an element to this game that makes it so much more interesting weather it be good or bad.
2) in the early days we had a few scraps with m0o corp, but that was close to them quiting the first time. We lost miserably but then we are open minded people and knew this would be the most likely out come. But we had a go.
3) m0o probably our contact with pvp corps has been ssome what limited.
4) m0o make the game more dangerous and more challenging. I like a game to have challenge.

Do you think that m0o asks this question to select their next target? I do. But you should have posted it with an alt. If you donÆt want to be invaded, donÆt claim that your corporation or alliance is the toughest. That is a bullÆs eye on your chest.

1. What do you think of m0o corp?
I think they started the game in retail very poorly & played way below themselves, but have evolved into a strong PVP corporation.
2. How big an impact would you say m0o corp has had on your eve experience?
Surprisingly, very little. I have killed one m0o player and they have killed me once.
3. Who do you think is the most effective pvp corp in eve at the moment?
I'll go with the flow - Evolution & m0o
4. How would you feel about it if m0o corp no longer existed tomorrow?
Is this a leading question? Dunno, last time they quit I thought "good riddance newbie gate gankers". Like I said, m0o have changed a bit since then & it would be a shame, I suppose.

1. What do you think of m0o corp? People who have come to realise the only thing about eve is combat and lots of it.
2. How big an impact would you say m0o corp has had on your eve experience? The gatecamping in Lonetrek effected my MOA sales signifcantly back when i was TTI. Then there was the time you came ot venal and i saw my first ever major fleet engagement - in which we traded 1 bs kill for the loss of one of ours. Finally you owned the FA and brought them out of the frey in the CA vs SA/FA/Evol fight.
So yea, u could say you've had big impacts in my eve experience :).
3. Who do you think is the most effective pvp corp in eve at the moment? m0o - for bringing the FA to their knee's. One could say Omega for their methods of attacking stain - but the war against stain still rages on. One could say Evolution for bringing down the VA - fact is they didn't do it alone. So there u go. 4. How would you feel about it if m0o corp no longer existed tomorrow? Glad Teamspeak wouldn't lag as much i'm sure! JK. I'd be dissapointed, you guys do bring entertainment to the game and are arguably amongst its finest players.

1. What do you think of m0o corp?
bunch of decent gamers having pvp fun in eve
2. How big an impact would you say m0o corp has had on your eve experience?
Much higher profile on forums than in game. Forums are full of m0o threads, in game they're really only consistently a headache for n00bs who get caught in FD and other bottlenecks. Sure m0o hit the aliances, but only for a few days then they leave.
3. Who do you think is the most effective pvp corp in eve at the moment?
Evolution or CoC.
4. How would you feel about it if m0o corp no longer existed tomorrow?
Disappointed because they occupy a niche in the Eve universe and I want this game to succeed. The core of good pvp'ers in m0o have recruited second tier pirates like the SINC guys and without original m0o those guys would not be an effective fighting force. But right now theyre part of a strong team that affects the balance of power.

Uhm since when was SINC a second tier pirate corp?
Shollos, Leyla, Radek, Rancid Milk, Katchin, Supe among others were great PvPers..
Leyla was probably one of the best leaders in EVE period.
Don't diss those guys, they were very good players. ------

1. Personal viewpoint. A lot of the m0o guys, played round on chaos and stuff with, seem like pretty cool guys. There are a few I don't like, but, like Dalman said, you can get that personality conflict among any corp.
2. A lot. m0o and sincs attacks on FA were the catalyst for the formation of alliances among fountain corps. Later the FA was born, after fierce resistance to Evolution, however, it is unlikely that resistance, and the eventual outcome, would have happened without the initial m0o attacks forming bonds among the locals.
3 I am a lil biased. I guess I will just say I think their are only 2 corps who really stir up a ruckus when they pop in to local.
4. Hate to see anyone quit. Evolution..... Just when you thought you were winning.

2. I'd say m0o have had a big impact in eve (just ask CFS or FA)
3. Shinra and OC havent really fougth with m0o so i wouldent know

4. How would you feel about it if m0o corp no longer existed tomorrow?
1. Right now I think of m0o like a wandering plague. Doesn't seem to have a home, it just goes wherever it pleases destroying everything in its path.
2. Early game I had a lot of respect for m0o's reputation. Even today, who doesn't know about m0o? Yet, my lack of interaction with m0o pilots has resulted in no real impact on how I play, but a lot toward the game in general. Still a bit of awe at times when thinking of the old days, but it's moreso toward individuals like Zap and Stav and j0rt than toward m0o corp as a whole.
3. Most effective PvP corp--I really would say m0o on this. Has always been very organized in combat, willing to try out new tactics, and just work very well together.
4. If m0o didn't exist tomorrow, I would feel that EVE had lost something important. IMO m0o is one of those very few corps in the game that people are literally terrified to run into, and even moreso to be told "we're coming after you". ______________

1) I've always liked "pirate/PK'r" corps. Add a nice spice. My impression is that mOO doesn't quite fit that catagory anymore. They seem to be more about attacking Alliances and testing themselves in fleet battles these days.
2) Never really had an impact on me. I've danced with a few of them over time, never lost a ship, don't remember taking one, but then running blockades was never tough if you were prepared. I do remember Lord Zap being a Holy Freaking Terror in the first weeks of release
3) mOO/evol, yada yada - I think the better question is who is going to be the most effective pvp in 3-6 months. Various forms of attrition continue to erode older powerhouses, so the question is whether managements can build mega-corp structures which will survive in the long run.
4) If you ain't having fun baby, its time to move on!

1.) They have my respect for one thing above all else: honesty. m0o has never claimed to be anything but what they are. They like to move around and kill people. Lots of people!
2.) m0o was the Boogeyman for a long time. They were the corp everyone was afraid of. The Reverand podded my refining alt in his Executionor a long time ago. All I saw was a Rupture cruiser coming at me and blocking out the sun as a pair of torps made my subwoofer kick in. It was all quite cinematic and my alt was quite dead. I loved it.
3.) My comments would have been the same as many people's a few weeks ago, but I've got to say that I think the time of the single 'corp' is fading and that alliances are going to become much more prominent. FA did a good job of proving this against FE and I'm thinking that Evol's war with the PA is not going to be as cut and dried as some think. But out of the dozen excellent PvP corps that come to mind, I wouldn't want to single any of them out because on any given day I think the battlefield could go to any one of them.
4.) Honestly, it wouldn't really affect me. My interaction with m0o has been minimal. However I would feel like a big chunk of EVE mythology had passed away. I'd mourn for a few moments, and then go back to fighting the CA. _____ CLS Civil Affairs Bureau

1. Hmz, allthough mostly intelligent and socially adept guys, they do have more than their share of utter dimwits. I dunno, good people are hard to come by these days, and i guess even more so in your profession.
2. Well, quite some actually, our PVP debut was against m0o in the wee early days down in Heimatar. We jumped their camp with a wing of rifters, but alas, our intel didn't include them having already gotten cruisers ;)
After that, the FA siege obviously, but no other encounters as far as i can recall.
3. That would be a wild guess really, but the most feared is undoubtedly m0o.
4. Well, they do keep the ships market going :P ________________________________________________

- Cool , Organized bunch of powergamers, I don't fear m0o ( never did ) - On my EVE-experience, not that much, i havent really ran into u guys much, but what u did to the world around me ( CFS and FA related ) reliefed me of some "stress" as a hauler, EVOL/FA in your HQ system isnt a good thing :) - The most effective ?, what i pick up from the boards is not to be trusted imo :) so i will source from my ingame experience, i know u are good, i know VOTF is good, i know Omega / OTA lets say C4 in general is good, FE seems to rock, and i feared EVOL here and there, if i look at death/kill ratio's ( that i know ) i think m0o wins :) - I think if m0o would stop to exist, but the players would continue to play, i wouldnt miss u guys THAT much, but if u all left the game, i think i would miss the pressence alot.
problem is i dont know THAT much about m0o :) but one thing that is for sure, EVE wouldnt be the same without m0o, yeah i think i will miss it alot of moo would stop to exist.
