1. What do you think of m0o corp? As people, never met them, as players, slightly egotistical (witness this thread for an example of that )
2. How big an impact would you say m0o corp has had on your eve experience? On mine personally, no impact. On the Eve community in general, not as large as they think they have.
3. Who do you think is the most effectivepvp corp in eve at the moment? Redundant question. Depends on too many variables. And I haven't met all the PvP corps in Eve so I can't comment.
4. How would you feel about it if m0o corp no longer existed tomorrow? Couldn't care less. Couldn't care less if 90% of the other corps in Eve didn't exist so its nothing against M0o.
You guys do seem real needy though - alot of your members do seem to need constant validation on some level or other from wider members of the Eve community. This thread is a classic example of that. Kill posts are another.
I look forward to your flames... -------------------------------------------- Dead

1. What do you think of m0o corp? I personally do accept their "style" in EVE, some people are great entertainers, some are annoying as they are seemingly bored only , as I never expected to get invited to their ranks I did not ask for an invitation
2. How big an impact would you say m0o corp has had on your eve experience? Did not have any personal contact during the last 8-9 months but they have always been present, if you know what I mean
3. Who do you think is the most effective pvp corp in eve at the moment? There are some corps with a sound reputation, EVOL and m0o are among these, of course
4. How would you feel about it if m0o corp no longer existed tomorrow? As was said here already, other corps will fill the empty space. Why are you asking, can I have your stuff? ____________________________________________________

[quote 1. What do you think of m0o corp? Big piratey types who used to live in PF-346 and now parade around the galaxy killing anyone they can find.
2. How big an impact would you say m0o corp has had on your eve experience? Extremely little, I have only ran into m0o once although stavr0s did call me a wierdo on irc once.
3. Who do you think is the most effectivepvp corp in eve at the moment? Joker Corp.
4. How would you feel about it if m0o corp no longer existed tomorrow? There is always someone to take their place, so wouldn't bother me.

1. A good pirate corp perhaps on par with space invaders.
2. None, but im sure if we met they would be a lot of childish smack in local, and im sure that most of it wouldn't come from me.
3. Space Invaders, just a handful of them can terrorize a whole region regardless of opposition, that in my opinion is efficiency defined to a perfection.
4. tbh not many people now would really care, the m0o of the early days got respect by pwning everyone that crossed them and keeping their mouths mostly shut and their guns doing the talking, the m0o of today however I feel is loosing respect daily as theres too much childish forum activity going on.

1. What do you think of m0o corp?
You now have 2 of my ex. fighting buddies in your ranks so I have to like you now.
2. How big an impact would you say m0o corp has had on your eve experience?
Stavros nearly took out my Moa with this 425mm projectiles when the stacking bug was around and one m0o guy, whose names escapes me (starts with T), took out my friends Imicus which was carrying about 20m (when mega was 4094 per) worth of megacyte which we'd spend 2 weeks ninja-mining.
3. Who do you think is the most effectivepvp corp in eve at the moment?
Evol.

Didn't really like them at first, but after talking with them they're pretty cool.
2. How big an impact would you say m0o corp has had on your eve experience?
Apart from the attacks on Fountain I never really had much to do with m0o. Personally I was never afraid of them, but it sure was annoying when they were in Fountain.
3. Who do you think is the most effectivepvp corp in eve at the moment?
I'd have to go with CoC on this one. I like their fighting style a lot.
4. How would you feel about it if m0o corp no longer existed tomorrow?
I'd declare war on some random corp.

1. What do you think of m0o corp?
Eve is a platform to reflect RL behaviour. More than that giving the opportunity to live everyones ego. The m0o-way is one of it.
2. How big an impact would you say m0o corp has had on your eve experience?
m0o adds an substantial part to the risk within the game.
3. Who do you think is the most effectivepvp corp in eve at the moment?
There are so many influencing factors for each engagement, can¦t say.
4. How would you feel about it if m0o corp no longer existed tomorrow?
Hm, I hate safe havens on the one hand, so go ahead. On the other hand they definetly make new players quit and they influence alliance conflicts a lot. That¦s a large impact on game and player interacting dynamics. All in all, there¦s a chance m0o-activities will make more people quit than join the game. -------------------- (Advocatus Diaboli) |

1./ Well I speak for myself here, but I hold quite alot of respect for m0o every since we engaged them for the first time way back.
2./ On my game experience not much, you always been there and we engaged a few times, but never really been head to head. We had our fun camping PF and FD.
3./ well, im not going to say evol since thats big headed so defo m0o. m0o are someone who I held upto our standards and always thought as in the top tier of pvp corps in eve.
4./ imo it would be a loss to eve as a whole, but wouldn't really effect us to much, I mean you died once and come back

1. What do you think of m0o corp?
They seem like a gaming clan who are only incidently playing Eve. By which I mean their language and engagement and style would suit any number of first person shooters and alternative mmorgs. They do also appear to be publicity sinks and do spend a lot of time looking for approval and fanboi worship. Some interesting personalities, but some tosh, way too much misrespectful smack talking though. 2. How big an impact would you say m0o corp has had on your eve experience?
Directly? none at all. Indirectly, they were the cause of my first forum rant! Which was against TTI for making a sordid little pay off deal to Moo in the days of the lonetrek blockades. Also, I don't think you can entirely write off the significance of the early lag-blockade tactics, module stacking, and various dirty deeds on the progress of pvp mechanics. It that way they probably had a big impact on everyone to has ever fired a weapon in anger...
3. Who do you think is the most effectivepvp corp in eve at the moment?
Small corps = Jokers, Cult of Cthulhu (both excellent and smack talk free) Some of Space Invaders are masters of the art. Evolution on the large scale, because they mix high levels of discipline and competitence, and Molle provides effective leadership. I think thats what is lacking from Moo to claim that crown, the moo leaders lack gravitas.
4. How would you feel about it if m0o corp no longer existed tomorrow?
Wouldn't be fussed really. Others will rise to take the "most feared barbarian horde" crown. FE for one. I wouldn't miss the Moo smack talk at all. And although there are some good personalities in the corp, the general "background and roleplay free" aspect of moo means it brings nothing much to my enjoyment of the game environment.
Love and peace

Sorry old friend, maybe it's time to hire a Public Relations advisor?
On another note, the tone of this thread is incredible to me, not just because it's filled with beta old farts like me speaking nicely, but because it clearly notes a change in mOO's tactics as a corp. Back in the day they roamed the western edge of the galaxy, figuring out and utilizing every exploit available (least as I recall, no slam intended) and ganked every poor schnoob they ran across. They were pasted across the Crimes and Punishment forums (must have been when The Reverend was unjustly left in the dust - PR babe, Lord Zap paid untold millions to get his kisser pasted on the Concord billboards. Little known fact.)
So where they now? Not on the Crimes and Punishment forums......
Okay, we've spent 2.5 pages playing nice in thei thread, what an awesome change so here's my question to mOO and I encourage others to chime in with your 2 cents.
Where are you going mOO? And instead of just passing off a bunch of dodgy quips, let's hear why you've changed and what is you new corp plan. I'm sure informing the community won't affect it's outcome, after all no one is going to "brace for impact" anymore than they already are. So what is up with mOO?

Disappointed because they occupy a niche in the Eve universe and I want this game to succeed. But right now theyre part of a strong team that affects the balance of power.
SINC were an amazing force in themselves before they sort of... folded.

1. What do I think of m0o?
They're o.k. - it's not the same m0o from the earlier days. If you didn't get involved w/ them you heard many stories on the forums about those who did get owned by them. Today the enigma is gone - pvp skill is there but that silent enigma is pretty much kaput.
2. How big an impact would you say m0o corp has had on your eve experience?
Very little actually - in 8 months i've only seen maybe a handful of m0o - plenty of the other sordid buccaneer corps - but not much of m0o.
3. Who do you think is the most effective pvp corp in eve at the moment?
Hell if I know - I haven't fought much with other corps to really see the spectacular side to their PvP.
4. How would you feel about it if m0o corp no longer existed tomorrow?
Well I managed to get by the first time m0o no longer existed. So this time around would be the same. If no m0o meant m0o quit the game then I would be disappointed - I don't like seeing players leave the game no matter who they are. EVE is better for having as many colorful players as possible.

Agreed, but camping gates is the story of m0o most of its life, doesn't matter where. I know they do fight some alliances but theyre mostly pirating
quote: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 3. Who do you think is the most effective pvp corp in eve at the moment?
Evolution or CoC. --------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Evolution die sometimes. CoC died as an effective force ages ago. Good choices, if it was months ago. But its not.
The difference between Evolution and m0o is that m0o usually strike the weak and unsuspecting, while evolution as far as I can see go head to head with the strongest in the eve universe. Good case in point is SINC who you described as "an amazing force". Evolution doggedly fought those guys until they collapsed, just like happened with TTi, and now theyre taking on the Venal guys. I'm not saying m0o wouldn't fight any or all of those guys but its not their bread and butter. M0o's bread and butter is gate camping with a recent trend to hitting regional alliances that are weak, like FA or SA while their fleets are in Curse or CFS who are not a military powerhouse. BTW I don't think CoC know that they died as an effective fighting force.
quote: -------------------------------------------------------------------------------- 4. How would you feel about it if m0o corp no longer existed tomorrow?
Disappointed because they occupy a niche in the Eve universe and I want this game to succeed. SINC were pirates. When they went "straight" they didn't turn out to have any great success in PVP. They folded because the main guys wanted to go back to pirating hence they joined m0o.
I'm not anti-m0o. I think they add to the game, many are good pvp'ers, and they have an impact on what happens next. I think they are more like terrorists or opportunists than the armies of legitimate powers. Thats alright though.

1. What do you think of m0o corp?
Good sense of humor.
2. How big an impact would you say m0o corp has had on your eve experience?
Only had run-ins with them back in the old days around FD-MLJ. No big losses or kills, but had lots of fun.
3. Who do you think is the most effective pvp corp in eve at the moment?
This is difficult for anyone to answer. No one has sparred with every PvP corp out there. So a general judgment is usually only based on reputation and hearsay. And on top of that, you could meet one corp in battle on an "off" day or week because many corps combat effectiveness changes from week to week.
4. How would you feel about it if m0o corp no longer existed tomorrow?
m0o provides the "equation of eve" with an unpredictable element. Take out our "roaming band of evil", and things will get more predictable and easier to solve. (sounds boring to me)
Too bad m0o doesnt have more of a fitting name like.....
