I have met plenty of PC players who where much less immature than the clans from mag who are all advodacting this game so far.

Not really an issue of maturity, or of PC vs console, though. It's just that people who stick with Eve and regularly forum post are constantly paying for the privilege to do so, so they must care about Eve, or care about trolling, or care about something. With a F2P/MT game like Dust, the "care meter" of ye olde average forumgoer will be lower, and thus post quality will be lower. Get ready for "lol roket launcher is OP becase i died forteen times to it and it has explosion and scope". Fucks given: zero. Effort and thought put into post: zero.

Also, think of one of the times a forum newbie thinks it's a good idea to pick a fight with a veteran forum warrior and doesn't realize when to shut up. Multiply that times a few hundred.

Most of our "forum warriors" are negative, whiney, depressed, can't-find-anything-good-about-anything bitter-vets who think the world revolves around them and that CCP is Satan's creation. Some of them have sense, but there are few. Just because you've been playing since 300 BC doesn't mean you are more important than everyone else. I highly doubt this place could get any worse, so I welcome our new Dust minions with open arms because they are just adding to the cluster-f*ck that is the EvE community.....


BTW Dust isn't 100% F2P, as you have to pay to get it and from there you can choose to MT or not.

I'm pretty sure they all have "EVE" as a prefix for a reason, and once Dust gets launched, we will see another forum structure but with DUST 514 instead.
