Duke Droklar	Posted - 2004.02.12 12:19:00 - [1] A CA force controled catch as usual. OC and OTA formed up with the CA battlegroup and proceeded for DSS to assault the Stain forces. As we approached, the SA logged off in DSS so we charged down the chain to the heart of stain looking for some action. Moving with great speed we overran a group of 5 SA BS's camping a gate. They were quickly routed and sent to their safespots minus two. We then noticed a large SA force building below and the DSS force had relogged and were swinging down in a pincer attempt. We took defensive posture with SA numbers in our system building and the SA reinforcements on the other side 1 jump away. Although SA had 1.5x our numbers they did not attack. As time went on we noticed more SA reinforcements trickling in. It appeared the odds were not favorable enough for SA to engage us. With more SA forces slowly building the CA battlegroup moved to DSS to form up with some CA reinforcements. SA forces moved to within 2 jumps of DSS. SA forces now doubled the numbers of the CA battlegroup, we dug in and braced for battle. Forward recon reported SA forces docking and undocking. We assumed they were re equipping for heavy combat, surely the battle would rage soon and the blood would flow. Yes, 2-1 odds SA favor, just the way they like it. We waited with great anticipation as this would be the climax of the days assault on SA. Then they all logged off... . Apparently the new SA rules of engagement require 3-1 odds. SA losses = 5 BS (3 lvl 2, 2 lvl 1) CA losses = 1 BS (lvl 1)

The map is not very accurate though.... But who cares. No engagement took place even though it was in SA space (not much of a defence if SA let the enemy run around in their own backyard).

Seriously, while I have a lot of respect for some of Omega's pilots, this constant spamming of the boards is lowering my overall opinion greatly, not that my opinion is of any great import. My point though is that these Omega self-********** posts are getting very annoying. I know you guys are good, but so are a hell of a lot of SA pilots.
