I know CCP has got to have a reason for not having longer range webs.. but I can't think of one except for it would make good inty pilots no longer near invincible.. Couldn't we have a 25km web that does -50% or -60% velocity with a higher cap usage and cpu requirements? And don't just say get a rapier or a huginn...

Actually, theres no 14km web. Faction goes from 11-15km Officer from 25-40km.
Oh, and the blood raider faction ships ofc. Oh, and overheating. Oh, and information warfare gangmodules and skills.

Edited by: Fehz on 12/09/2007 18:52:29 thanks.. :) and it looks like according to evemon, the only one with frigate size fitting that will be decent is a domination web @ 15km.. as long as the inty doesn't have a t2 disruptor and they stay at 20km, i may be able to snag em' with a bit of luck and a mwd..
edit: skills? i didn't know there was a skill that extended webbing..

Well they don't - only indirectly.
Information Warfare Link - Recon Operation boosts the range, and the skills for it, boosts the module.

That information warfare module only affects electronic warfare modules, the gang link you want is the Skirmish warfare - interdiction maneuvers which increases rang on propulsion jamming modules.

yup.. i'm just gonna have to bring a buddy with an inty equipped with a web/scram to hold him still for 10 or 15 seconds.. i'm beginning to think i'm just going to have to train up for a rapier, cause the destroyers are useless except for some of the "harder" level 1's.. i don't want to have to have a 200 mil destroyer that may or may not be able to snag an inty..

.. this thread makes me want a rokh with a bunch of t2 medium rails, a 40k web, a nice long scram, target painter, and a couple of smartbombs.. would be an inty swarm nightmare..

Would actually prefer 4 assault launchers to 4 medium rails, preferably t1, but t2 is possible if t1 is to expensive. 2 officer smartbombs and 2 officer neuts.
Drop the painter, keep the scram and web. Bring sensor boosters and possibly damps. =)
