Lot's of good stuff mentioned, so I'll just add the Need For Speed games, and my favourite is Most Wanted. I know many beat down on the physics etc, but I quite like it nonetheless. Always fun to start a pursuit and see how long I can last. Learning how to handle the cement truck properly with a keyboard (never bothered to get a wheel) was a challenge, but a fun and rewarding one  .
