Im a member of a peaceful corp. We do defend our selves and we do make war when needed. Reacently a corp started to steal our ore in central space, thats fine as its part of the game. We offcource got ****ed as he bragged about it in local, so we decided to go to war with his corp. He accepted the war and 48 hours later it began. Sofar everything is cool and part of game.
We started to track down this 3 man corp and soon realized that the 3 men actually was just one player, as none of them was on at the same time and when one of them logged off another of them logged on shortly after. Sofar so good, nothing wrong with this at all.
But when we got them/him cornered and was about to get into action (try to kill him) he docked and changed corp. And he said in local that he was going to change back too. AND THIS IS AN OUTRAGE!!
I dont know if this war dodging is against the rules??? Do someone know??

This is a know "tactic" by cowards, just read on at the boards and you'll find several posts about it. You're just lucky he didn't change corp and then met you at a gate and you opened fire on him without checking. 'Cause then Concord would own your *ss and he would pick up your drops and go merrily on his way....

It is really a joy seeing people taking the time to formulate good intellectual answers. You think I am truly stupid, and I can tell you I truly could not care less

Just a sidenote. He didn't accept the war, you can't do anything about it. There's no way to say "no" to a war.

IIRC it is not an exploit if he actually docks and changes corporation. The exploit "was" changing corporation in space while somebody was shooting at you.
I could have something completly mixed up here -------------------------

possibly quitting a corp should not be instant but have some delay, at least when that corp is in a conflict
even the paranoid has real enemies...

also somewhat related, logging off in space should have a longer timeout, if theres other ppl in system wich has a neg sec rating towards you, also if any type of conflict occurred, the timeout should be extended too, no matter if ppl are in system or not.
You could still dock and be safe, but you couldnt just warp someplace and log, since if the timeout was 10 minutes the danger of you being found would be too big.
Another thing is relogging as another char ought to have delay aswell (relogging with the same should not) since its kind of stupid ppl constantly logging and relogging using alts, to scout for possible victims (or threats) that ought to be handeled by a proper main char scout (or at least another player)
even the paranoid has real enemies...
