My guess is that for some, joining forces with the goons just isn't worth any short term gains. Short term because if Bob and allies were to lose, we know how long it will take before the goons turn on their 'friends' and RA goes back to controlling the real money.

Originally by: Snake Jankins So you say people are getting bored of this good vs. evil war and are having their own regional conflicts again ? Was about time to be honest. Players were reduced to being pro-bob anti-bob or pro-goon, anti-goon and bitter 1-man corp alts tried to keep things running that way. Maybe now people start to show them the finger and think for themselves again. Nice. That you have BOB/GOON red or blue doesn't mean that you can't fight your own wars.[/quote
I like your response, it makes sense and to be honest I haven't thought of this. Good point. I'm sick of this war too, and prefer local, smaller warfare than lagbattles 50+ jumps away. This is one of the reasons that I'd prefer to finish this war instead of pulling back at strategically important times.
It happened about 6 months ago in Feyth, then it got steamrolled. It happens now and who knows what happens next. But I have no desire to start it over again from scratch 6 months later.

you answered this post very well with this comment

i believe the lag says it all for them tbh, theres to many numbers involved in this war and getting a fight where its bareable was probably seen as to difficult so they looked else where for a little fun
Originally by: Admiral Nova I'm pretty sure most of Eve don't really care about BoBMcFix vs IACRAGOONAAA etc... I mean, for most people the longer that war stays in 'stalemate' the better.
i wouldnt say that, a lot of people are very interested in eve politics both on and off of CAOD and speaking from a industrial point of view those who are building ammo / items / ships are doing very well out of this isk wise so they'll probably want this war to continue on for a long time so they can milk it for all its worth.

imo it would be very interesting to see how things would turn out if it did start again, especially with the new pos additions that CCP put in the game
would the alliance fortify their system defences more aggressivly?
would the coalation make the mistakes that they did previously?
would both sides still be as battle hardened as they are now?
i think out of all the questions running through my mind about this battle the only question that is clearly obvious to have a "yes" answer to would be this one
would CAOD and local still be a smack haven for some?
either way this war is still far from over and both sides are getting the fight that they want maybe not exactly what they wanted due to the lag and desync crap but still a fight none the less. ---------------------------- BOB 4 LIFE NOT JUST 4 A DAY ----------------------------
