It wont take long till you know what the different modules do, just stick with it for a while and try and get in a corp where you can ask if your not sure about something.

Edited by: Lanu on 14/02/2004 09:54:52 It's cool to see all kind of people look at me and my friend when we talk about eve because they think we are crazy.. sometime's it's hard to understand for newbies.. like this : "Yea i got a new bb fitted with a MWD + cm's also nice multifreq jammers.. it's cool there in a2 with this boat" would you understand this if you were a newbie?

Flamers and unhelpful posts removed, please be nice.
Hello Antonino,
Much of the lingo is in reference to ship modules, there are many types but they fall under the same category of module.
For instance there are Afterburners, the ones you can buy from Stations are usually 1mn, 10mn and 100mn types. However you can get rare ones as loot of NPC pirates, and these will have more extravagent names. The thing to remember is that they are still afterburners, but just a little better than the stations ones in terms of their stats.
Hope that helps, my fingers hurt now.

The important thing to remember is: don't be afraid to ask! Ignorance due to inexperience, while it is frequently scorned by some, is not a fault or a failing; the only *dumb* action is to not find out what you wanted to know because you didn't ask.
And you'll pick it up sooner than you think; or at least, you will if you get hooked on the game enough to spend much time here
