We now buy back shares at their value of 10M isk each.
To facilitate this, ISSO has setup a buy order on the RESX.
Please carefully read the instructions on RESX to find out how to exchange your shares to isk.

Very interesting move, a shame in a way as I was buying them at 9mil :)
I hope you are still selling them at 10mil as well, keeping the trade busy?

Very nice!
I sense Roemy being EXTREMELY ****ed off right about now since he already sold off all his shares below the 10M value.
I guess we'll see how the next month or two goes... to see how many shares you end up buying back (assuming you will report this number each month in your report). It will definitely bolster confidence in ISSO from those who were a bit on the fence.

Yeps we're still selling them! The buyback order is just a exit for people that want to get rid of their shares in ISSO. Besides that it is business as usual!

My intention is to allways keep a buy order up on RESX. When the current one fills I'll setup a new one. We report the number of shares that are in public hands each month, so that should pretty much tell you how many shares have been bought back by ISSO. If there is demand for it, I can report both bought and sold shares each month.

Who is buying the shares back? As in, who will own the shares once they have been bought back?

That spoils my below 10,000,000 ISK buy orders
Actually, if you sell an ISSO share on RESX (after transferring it as the instructions tell you here) you will get 10,000,000 ISK. However, you will be charged a 0.5% fee to remove this as cash, meaning you will get 9,950,000 ISK transferred to you from RESX. If, however, you leave the money in RESX it will generate 1% interest monthly (calculated daily) (RESX is not a bank so no moaning about this low rate, and it is more than EGSE pays) enough to cover the withdrawl fee. However you can use this money to buy and sell shares on RESX immediately, and only when you remove the cash (or deposit more) will you be charged the 0.5% fee - shares transfers are free
BTW - I just like RESX - I have nothing to do with it. |

They'll be put back into the ISSO wallet.

A move I respect. I have a great deal more confidence in ISSO knowing they are willing to buy their shares back.

Just wanted to confirm this is correct.

Nice move Stins. You've just opened up the opportunity for ISSO shares to exceed IPO value :)

Damn. So much for my plan of buying them all cheap when the hate caused the share price to crash
Nice to see ISSO keeping in touch with things on this forum though. Keep up the good work.

Thats a good thing, but honestly for me its all about ISSO saying to world "Our shares have value, and you know this, because we ourselves are willing to buy them"
That ISSO is confident enough in their long term share value to actually think its a good investment to hold their own shares is a good thing. In RL Stock Markets many companies dont do this, and when they do its a very good sign. ISSO has inside information on its own operations (of course) and if they are willing to exchange Shares for ISK then it means they have faith that those shares are actually worth the isk they are paying.
All in all, an EXCELLENT move.

A slight derail to ask where you're selling them. Is the ISSO sale thread still active (and if so, linky please!), or is it just through RESX or EGSE?

You can buy shares by simply getting in touch with me, or just send isk and you'll get the shares in 24 hrs :)
