Okay, it'is possible to fit 1 cruise missile launcher on caracal, but that requires some pretty expensive stuff, like tech 2 engineering rigs and officer RCUs.

It's limited by fitting and speed to really only be practical with assaults or heavies, so there's no need to limit the bonus. I would hope you would never fit rockets to a Caracal, that would be extremely silly. What are you going to do with the extra fitting, slap on an XL booster that wipes your cap in two cycles?

And you do not want to use rockets on the Caracal - Use Assault Missile Launchers... They have the same DPS, much better range, and they don't have to reload every 30 seconds - also you can get better dps with fury and nuke ceptors with precision. Lots of space for MWD and Large Shield Extenders - be careful around Siege Ravens though EDIT: I have actually attempted a Rocket Caracal just to see the rocket spamming... I had hoped for better fireworks but you really only have VERY weak reasons to fit rockets. - I'm a nice guy!! MOA is NOT UGLY!!! It's A FREAK SHOW!!!!

If the dmg bonus applied to the rockets also youd get better dmg with rockets than light missiles. But standards would be the best choice. -------------- Who dares to mod my sig?!

Posted - 2007.09.21 13:41:00 - [23] Could always be using rockets merely to fit a ****load of LSE IIs :) Example (well, assault launchers aren't rockets, but they are lower-fitting than heavy/HAM launchers) 5x assault missile launchers 3 LSEs 2x mission-specific passive resist arrays A mix of 2 SPRs and BCUs. ------------------------------ One more soldier off to war... And one Velator in my hangars.
