All these people who are crying and whining because of a feature they have not even used yet, nor will they have to use if they don't want when it arrives.
I think it is quite funny. Because most of these people are going to use it and they are going to love it.
Later, when they are having so much fun using this new feature they supposedly hate, I will post my list of whines next to screenshots of their happy ambulatory goodness.

I'm not very vocal on Ambulation one way or the other, but I'd rather they focus on EVE's strong points instead of branching out in to the more traditional MMORPG territory.
I don't need a graphical representation of my character beyond the portraits to interact with my environment.

Technically correct. However that's not what either myself nor, I think, the original poster had in mind.
Do you have a real answer?

Add me to the list, I hate it because it bumped plantary flight, nothing more, nothing less. So when it comes out, guess what, I will still hate it regardless, even if I enjoy it, I will still love to hate it if you get my drift.

People dont hate Ambulation! They hate not knowing how it will turn out!
People simply hate the unknown! In perfect state ambulation will be a excellent addition to the eve universe, giving tons of oportunities to socialize with coro and alliance memeber, but in a failed state it can ruin the eve experience. The last option I personally dont see to be likely, but hey, anything can happend!

I don't hate ambulation, but calling it that annoys me. Sure, the dictionary definition of ambulation means to walk from one place to another, but it still sounds stupid. Maybe if they called it "Indoor Carebearing" I would like it more. ------------- CEO: Me VP: Myself Janitor: I |

Just because it's more syllables then you can normally string together doesn't make it a stupid word, you simply sound stupid trying to pronounce it. |

I believe "am bu lat ion" (4) while "in door care bear ing"(5) proves your point about syllable stringing togetherness wrong. Please do more carebear math. |

Aww thats cute, it's sort of english, while at the same time demonstrating a complete ignorance of the language.
Call me when the english translation of that message comes out, I'm really interested in what you're trying to say. |

and the response
Originally by: Yuri Orlov1985 I believe "am bu lat ion" (4) while "in door care bear ing"(5) proves your point about syllable stringing togetherness wrong. Please do more carebear math.
am+bu+la+tion is in fact 4 syllables, I'll ignore the incorrect division of syllables as a typographical error.
in+door care bear+ing is in fact 3 words, as the indoor is a word itself, and care bear when properly written is 2 words. Ignoring the butchering to make a proper compound noun into a one word verb, it is at best a 2 syllable word and a 3 syllable word descriptive fragment. Ideally it is a 2 syllable - 1 syllable - 2 syllable pattern, while five syllables total, no one word is comprised of more than three, rendering Rollover Die's statement more correct, in syntax at least.

My concern with ambulation is that it will give many further incentive to remain docked in stations. However I cannot say much more then that as I do not know the purpose of ambulation as of yet or exactly how much it will affect the game. The only thing I can do is put my faith in CCP as they have not failed me yet.

And, I must stress it again, Unless we have a "Grab Ass" & "Break bottle over bloke's head" e-motes when Ambulation comes, me and my 3000 accounts will all quit.
