Time: 12 midday
Meet at The Stand Comedy Club at York Place, five minutes walk from the train station, two minutes from the bus station.
Entry is free for the Sunday afternoon standup showcase.
Afterwards we will make our way to a local pub close by (I will confirm pub in a few days once I speak to the manager, they have a balcony area we can use and may have a band playing later in the evening).
Please state whether you think this is a good idea and whether you'll actually turn up.
I will endeavor to secure another can of swag for a raffle in the pub. I have some swag but more is good. [Are you listening Kieron?]
EVE TV is welcome to attend but they have to buy a round for forgetting us last time. In fact everyone is welcome, you don't have to be Scottish or live in Scotland or even be from the UK. You can come from anywhere, the more the merrier, we'll buy you a drink.

Everyone is welcome. Kieron was a bit slow in telling the shop to send stuff last time so it arrived the Monday after the gathering. I asked in plenty of time this time and he told the mail girls and guys more promptly and they have sent another package. So we have a total of 7 prizes to give away. There would have been 8 but I ate one.

I propose we have a contest where whoever drinks the most by 7pm gets the best prize, next most gets the next best prize etc. or every hour everyone present gets their name put in the hat, so if you turn up earlier the more chances to win you have, we then draw names out of the bin bag sized hat. Or we could fight for them, last person standing wins the lot. Oh I'll think of something. Or you'll think of something. Someone is bound to think of something. Quiz? strip poker? dance off? open mic spot at the Stand and whoever gets the most laughs gets nothing for being smart.
