The Stand at midday The Guildford around 3pm There is a greasy spoon close to the Guildford, may close at 4pm or so, and there is a Burger King on Princes Street, in front of the Guildford and opposite the Waverley steps up from the station. There are also a number of cheap eateries close by for refueling as required. Raffle at 8pm

Snax is OZOM. They do good chicken curry and chips as well as all day breakfasts and rolls and whatever. Mostly staffed by sexeh ozzy, south african and kiwi women. But if you are going to the stand for lunchtime comedy then they do good food cheap, so you will not be required to visit snax. See you all in a few hours.

I saw Zeewolf leaving from the bus, as it was going through St Andrew's Square. Not a good start. Anyway there were only 3 of us in The Stand. It was packed and I missed lunch but it was a really funny show. We had food and made it to The Guildford for about 4 as the show had finished late. Another gang turned up an hour later and we had a generally excellent time. And the man/women ratio was much better at 25% (last time man/women ratio was only 5%) but that was because there was only eight of us. At around eight we started cutting cards (as a nod to MC) for the swag. In fact we all were winners, nobody went away empty handed, including the npc (who was a woman). Everyone had a brilliant time. Sorry half of us (who went to the stand so started earlier and who have work tomorrow) had to leave early. The other half are no doubt still there drinking. Next meet is in Glasgow, in December, before Christmas, in a pub, on a Friday. The big prizes were won by The Slayer, who was a News Clone there to report on events. He won a full set of E-ON and the signed by devs poster, although the E-ON were won by Tekillya and given to The Slayer because he was coveting them so much, so big kudos to Tekillya, who won the gathering for being so carebear (not, he just got his 200th killmail yesterday). The big Caldari print was won by Bugnut, The small titan print was won by Elaromwol/Life<space>Machine I won the timecard and everyone else won keyrings, pens and everyone got a copy of the (chapter 8) extract of the new forthcoming EVE novel, just for turning up. Turnout low, but it was still great fun to sit around swapping stories, waving epeens and having a laugh talking about EVE (and fanfest). You really must make an effort to make the next one. You will have a good time.
