Ok early proposal anyone with alts ( rookie ships even) or just NPC corpers or peeps incorps that are interested in organising group invasions of missions
Motsu-saila Dodixie-aunia
Will be able to join "missioninvaders" channel and organise ( ill be organising some group activities next week) basic premise is we get a gang going we have peeps scanning out other peeps missions and we gate crash at least first in motsu-saila farmer missions mostly.
I will refresh this daily and hopefully we can get things going , expect lag bring salvage-looting ships if u want the idea is a bit of mayhem for those lonley solo players and those wanting a bit of fun with alts to join in. Group mission invasions |

Ive been doing this solo myself for a while and with my previous corp 2-3 peeps i would love tho to be able to drop in with 10-20 peeps into a mission and basically cause mayhem and some profit along the way. At this time its a variant on gang suicide ganks, lemming and the VCBEE events from last year as well as a variant on agony training ( which is good) but this will be ongoing.
I will post adventures , numbers etc and see if this thing can be rolled along Group mission invasions |

The gang leader will lead gang, anyone causing hassles will be named and blocked from chanenl. IF u are bored and wanna have some fun im hoping this channel develops into some fun in the sun element of gameplay, how many people can fit into someone elses mission depends on how many we get invovled
I might even start a blog type storytelling thread on events etc Group mission invasions |

So what do you get out of this or whatÆs the point of the invasion? Surely if you steal loot youÆll just be insta popped by the mission runner? What about rat agro or the mission runner just plain ignoring you? |

You WANT them to shoot you for looting because then you can come back and blow their ZOMGelitemultibillionPvE ship to pieces and steal all the shiny things. If they ignore you then you just get the missionloot for free.

Well the main element is a bit of fun, me i get a kick out of it. Ill be providing the scan probing and salvage, ill be flying a 10m isk cov ops. Those tagging along can do whatever they like within the mission, if we get enough we can use the remote repping ie someone in a combat ship if they are wiling to contribute or we get a core group doing this. Once aggroed they can then be remotely repped by others in gang ( and not get concorded) once the mission runners attack them ( anyone assisting with repping, signal boosting etc remotley) is flagged to mission runner.
Once the mission runner starts engaging a few those individuals can then have some fun.
Looting salvaging otherwise and a wtf in local, mission runner may warp out we either clean up or find someone else. Some peeps may decide to concord themselves.
Until this gets going its highly experimental and will be a work evolving in progress. Im going to change and restrict it for the time beign to the main farmer hubs in motsu-saila. U can join the channel its public delayed. And i just want to see where things go from here Group mission invasions |

precisley this type of gameplay isnt for eveyrone but if u are a low sec pirate with a free alt and some spare time. Or a new player wanting something different from game. Or just got a spare alt and youre camped in 0.0 with no hope of winning and bored just log in drop by the channel missioninvasion ( without spaces) and the next 4 days at least ill be working so will only be on a couple of hours before dt. Im hoping we get a few peeps in there to get gangs going.
Tbh i dont know where this will end up but i remain committed to getting it off the ground. and will keep the publicity up about it. As said work in progress. Group mission invasions |

ALso an anti macro - anti farmer type approach as 90% of mission runners in motsu-saila are farmers from my count. There might be the odd carebear but meh Group mission invasions |

If you're going to invade someones mission with the intention of using games mechanics to get them to concorde themeselves, I think you should have the decency to stay in a corp where they can wardec you.
You probed my mission down a couple of days ago and targetted multiple members of my gang (myself included) whilst we were in an intense fight, in my opnion purely to get one of them to accidently fire upon you. I saw what was happening and thankfully managed to keep people alert enough to avoid any problems, even going as far as popping our own wrecks to keep them from you
The older members already had auto target disabled, but I'll bem aking sure the newer players also disable it. Good luck with your venture, but I think you should avoid NPC corp membership as a way of avoiding the potential results of your "fun"

Agree. Frankly the whole "alt" thing is pretty lame as well (though appreciate some seasoned pirates won't be able to go into hi-sec with their mains), because then its just ****ing on someone elses fun at no risk to yourself. Alt+NPC corp means there is no real way for the mission runner to get back at you...........ever.
Thats kind of sad.
Respect to those who don't use alts or NPC corps for this.

Wait a minute.
Are you guys all carebears or something? You actually come into the Crime and Punishment forum, where Pirates abound, and your going to say, "I think you should stay in your corp so you can get wardec'd" ROFLMAO.
Your going to cite a person who is going to use game mechanics as a way to achieve the means to an end, and then just toss out game mechanics as a means of protection?.

If people are going to use alts+npc corps as a means to avoid the repercussions of their actions, then they're avoiding PvP as well. At which point, what you say applies to them also.
Suggesting people don't use alts or npc corps when busting missions is reasonable for a pvp game like this otherwise it is basically a case of crime, but no punishment.

Ahhh right, my mistake. I obviously missed the PVP in targetting someone in the middle of a hectic mission with the intention of getting them to accidentally fire on you so that they get concorded.

I read some of the posts in this forum and I can only guess as to the ages of some of you children that post here. And yes, I'm sure about 75% of you aren't over the age of 21...
Anyway, I've been away from the game for awhile. When I left the mission ganking issue was a gamebreaker, I'm suprised CCP hasn't fixed this. I never run missions outside of 0.5 empire and I ALWAYS pop my cans, wrecks, etc, to keep loot out of you children's hands.
I play this game for relaxation after an 8 hour workday. I don't need grief when I've been griefed in RL for 8 hours at the 9 to 5 job. For those of you who don't have one, you might want to think about getting one; it would teach you people skills most if not all of you desperately need to develop.
Do you kids actually enjoy using the grief tactics you employ? No wonder why our 90% of the younger generation belong on the short bus...

You don't like it when people blow up the wrecks do you?
Love the smack you gave in local after you jumped in on my corpmates mission. Was priceless.
In all fairness, I can see where this can be fun, I considered training a scanning alt to do the same thing. But I prefer low/nullsec myself.
Now what WOULD be funny is if you actually get a large group together and just take like 20 ships into some poor nub's mission and see the reaction you'd get. Who knows, he might confuse you for a respawn, lol.

Am I understanding this correctly? You're going to get a gang and probe out mission runners to..... steal their loot and try to get them to attack you?
No offense, but it seems quite lame. Not that I have anything against griefing, but at least suicide gank the mission runner. Just sitting there waiting for him to attack you and your band of rabbles, or stealing his loot is just as noobish as trying to fish in 1.0 nub systems.
I also imagine you're going to have a bunch of nubs in a gang sitting around for hours doing nothing, or coming away from it with nothing but some mission loot.
To each their own I suppose.

Yeah mission running sucks, oh you're talking about what they'd be doing. Ummm, sounds less mind numbing than running lvl 4 missions and has potential for at least some action rather than none.
