Hi everybody. Flying a Vexor atm and enjoying doing missions playing around with different fittings. On the ships and fittings section I've seen people talke about having 2 small armour reps instead of 1 medium. What are the advantages and disadvantages of each? Presumably 2 small gives a smoother or more constant regen rate? How do you figure out when to switch the second one on to get the smoothest repair rate?

Two reppers require a lot less both powergrid and CPU, you get the same rep rate, and you get the same drain on cap, you just smoothe out both.
You sacrifice a low slot for it, that low slot may have been used on more tank/gank.

Yep, a lot smoother, you get 4 repairs in the time it takes a medium to do one.

At half the cycle time, pretty easy, and you dont have to hit it exactly.

The question is whether that is worth a damage control unit or power relay?

Almost certainly not 
You have plenty of armor (even without any plates) to absorb the medium reppers cycle, but if you find yourself short on grid or CPU it gives you an option to save a lot and still keep the same rep rate.

I say get Engineering 5 and Electronics 5. And then talk about that.. Btw, I don't plate tank my vexor, ever.
