Because some smacktard russians are upset we didn't post a t1 cruiser loss it is our new "alliance" policy that we will no longer post any of our losses. Thank you, that's all. We now return you to your regular scheduled programming.

It's a new "alliance" policy. I don't see how it's any different than your average "durrr we're resetting standings" post. Should prevent me from getting stupid eve-mails. Well, that's the hope anyway.

I gues my personal view is don't post your kills if you don't poss the losses too. You can't go beating your chest on good kills if you loose more. Its kinda like a badge of honor when you get a good kill ratio going.

2) The enemy doesn't look at your killboard for weakness ... they will know through their own killboard ... what you do when losses are not posted ( if big alliance ) is hide the fact you are loosing ships and that would effect member moral for some alliances ( if they see large number of losses )... so if worried about showing weakness to your own members why have killboard

Well, I don't know how the MC works, seeing as you guys are bigtime professionals and all, but we wipe each of our members memory when they lose a ship. So thanks for the concern, but in our case it's not applicable.

Fought an alliance quite recently like that. I noticed that there was 80 loss mails missing from one day, including carriers and commands ships, but apparently, they have a "post if you can be bothered" policy

Think I stopped caring about personal k/d ratios after one or the other laggy or slideshowish fleetbattle.
And ganking is also no real art, so imho the k/d ratio is just an indicator for your dedication to kill stuff in that case, not an indicator of skill.
