Speaking for myself only, the bid was intended as serious. The items must not be included if they are not allowed. In this case, the bid is 100 million ISK.
If Miss Naphtalia disagrees, I will retract the bid.
One question for Pol Gnaux: Is it a requirement that the slave continues being kept as a slave after purchase? In that case, I would have to retract my bid.

Be warned, however, that releasing her may not have the desired response beyond the warmth of good intentions in your heart. She has been raised to serve her betters, and simply freeing her will more than likely kill her. It would be a waste to squander such a resource.
Contrary to what some may think I am not without a heart. Having raised her from birth, I feel an attachment to her as anyone would to their favored pets. Why, just today I witnessed her complete a semester's worth of education via neural uplink in under a day and pass the exam flawlessly. The look on the teachers face alone was worth the cost of raising her.

I disagree there, I believe it will end well for everyone, and both Miss Naphtalia and Mr. Verone will be happy with the outcome. Hopefully, he will also lose his distrust of the Khanid, while there are a few fanatics, I would not be an outlaw if I shared the Amarrian mindset.
If one is unable to win a deal in terms of money alone, a strategy or perhaps a strategic time has to be chosen to overcome an all-powerful opponent. I'm sure Miss Naphtalia would be pleased with this thinking.
I must admit I knew about Mr. Verone being 'occupied' at the time of my last bid. I was also occupied, in a different way, with one of his Veto family, but one who fortunately did not know about the auction. Make market rules work for you, a wise person once said. Hopefully Mr. Verone will take it with good humor, and not hold a grudge over this. I have great respect for him.
