By definition a capsuleer can't be a slave in the way you describe it, she is too powerful and able to break free form the Master's bonds if she so pleases and there is nothing one or the authorities can do about it.
This means that such an individual is slave by free will or by bond of honor. And such an agreement isn't anything more then a longterm leasebond on labor between three consenting adults.
I couldn't force such a slave to do my will, or prevent her from not doing it. Therefore I am sure this sort of employment arrangement is fully legal, moral and ethical.
If I am however naively mistaken, I would like you to point it out. Till then, I think I am the highest bidder.

It is not so much a question of being naive but more a question of morality. Human life is not to be bought or sold like a carton of milk. You want to buy, Pol wants to sell. Your buying simply aids the cause of slavery no matter what the potential of the person.
Let me put it to you like this. Cora Mann has obviously been brain washed by the forces of slavery to be loyal and subserviant to whoever owns her. The concept of being owned is drilled into her head, forced on her since infancy by the slave trainers. Your seeking to own her takes advantage of that training and the fact that she has been brought to believe this lack of freedom as a given. And no to betray her owner as well. So tell me what actual freedom Cora Mann actually has that paints her as not being a slave. And how you should be viewed as any different than a heartless and morally devoid slave owner presuming life is something anyone except the actual person can own?
And while you are at it, what services do you concider Cora Mann for when buying her and if she wanted to leave after you spent money, would you actually let her?

I see your point, however this isn't much different then for any of our non-capsuleer employees. They are free to leave but if they won't because staying will guarantee their safety, and keep them from deprivation, starvation and illness.
If she decides to go her own way, wether I let her or not is inconsequential becuase I have no means to assert control over free wil of a capsuleer.
Thank you for keeping me on my moral toes however.

Exactly what I expect a foul Amarrian to say. One is less important than one thousand? One million perhaps? Does the principal deminish the lower the numbers get?
