From the TS seems at least 5 rsf capitals are down till now, no ideea on alliance cap losses. Lag is bad, probably some people repair people already dead or responding to 5-10 min late calls.

Those lagfests represent 0.01% of eve pvp, but probebly cause 99.99% of the issues you mention. Eve pvp is very very lagfree, just charge your alt into lowsec or npc 0.0 and you will get the types of pvp you want. I know how you are feeling, but conqurable space is not easy and never ment to be easy, but my reccomendation is that you get a alt and use small scale pvp on the alt char while your main is focused on fleets so you get the best of both worlds.

After my first shiploss, and 2 accounts F*ed up, I had 45 min of TS **, trying to get in to k-9 and 2-R... Load-lag hit me 3 jumps out from ZID. Nothing worked from then on. I had 4 other ships of various sizes in K-9 and 2-R that wouldn't load either. Props to the hamsters..

When I came back in there were actually less people but goon wrecks were causing so much lag ( see when they are dead they seem to be able to lag people out ). We lost 3 caps, but killed about 20 at least i'd say. -------------------------------------- Lets face it, people that use the word 'noob' are blatantly either 12 or with more friends on the internet than in real life!

Last time this many cap ships were downed it was F-T, I recall how well it went for the coallition after that.

It already apparant how flying with the Goons has robbed RA of it's edge. Red Alliance used to be based on hit and run, thinking outside the box, and generally out smarting their opponents. Now they are nothing more than another blob alliance trying to play by Goonswarms rules of artlessly cramming as many ships in a system as possible and hoping for the best. Unfortunately it works worse with caps ships than t1 frigs.

They loose ships, fights and they are told "it's ok, don't bother". I also don't agree, there, when you say we loose every single day... omist fights were are not failures. Rise's fights were not failure. Feyth starts like a failure but battle don't make wars. My ennemy's point of vue about Bob's command : they target easy fights just to motivate members. I see this is the new McBob tactic. Hey, its smart imo. 1) You can count on fleet battles being giant lag fests, especially if you've got 1000 drones deployed. 2) Ships that require players to be able to play the game will lag out and be ineffective. 3) Drones don't lag and never have to reload. I'm through criticizing McBob for this tactic, its just smart. Its the evolution of tactics. If I were RSF I'd employ the same tactic, if they can somehow find enough carrier pilots. Its just kind of sad that these artificial limitations of lag have to get in the way of nearly every other ship/tactic at this scale of engagements. You'd figure dreadnaughts would be the ones to shine, and they would, if not for the lag. Because posting on the forums is serious business.

And by some reports these carrier/mom blobs seem to generate more lag, in turn raising their effectiveness. Now no faulting the thinking, take what is best for the job. What the hell were they doing on the battlefield, everyone knows they have nothing to offer. (That's RMF I mean, not the t1 frigates, as atleast t1 frigs are useful for something) Actually that's not fair. RMF can sometimes fight. With a BoB FC.

The whole lynchpin of sovereignty warfare is the POS. Change that and the whole dynamic of war changes. Do it right and you can even reduce blobs IMO. The whole concept of blobs and sovereignty was introduced to prevent station pingpong. As i see, all that need to change is the imposed objectives of the battle. In actual system u need to get sov on the target system, putting the towers into reinforced, killing them, onlining your own towers. What about if instead on this u could actually target an outpost and conquer if u reinforce and destroy a certain number of towers in several target sytems. Each outpost should have let`s say 5 POS`es with a module called "Outpost Power core" (or something more cool if u think of it). U cannot online more than one of each module/system/outpost(but u can have more modules in one system for different outposts). These towers have a low stront bay let`s say max 24 hours, and must kill 4/5 in a certain time frame. That will ensure a continuous battle in several systems, with multiple engagements, no trench warfare (as the defenders cannot blob only one system cause the attacked have the chance to take the outpost with the 4/5 condition). If this system would be doubled witha server node architecture that will put these systems on different nodes (like one outpost sov pos system/node) we will see more lag free battles. Even is just an idea, vrey rough and probably with a lot of flaws and not balanced, i still would like to see your oppinion. ________________ THE MEGA NOOB

Losing caps is irrelevant, as long as you maintain morale and faith in victory. If you pull everyone out of your home systems to go invade some space you don't need or really want, there should be a penalty for not having anyone around to defend. If someone takes out your station services, it should be significant, not a small job for a couple of carriers. If someone can sit outside your station for a couple of hours shooting services, you should probably be more focused on securing your own space, rather than attempting to claim "all of 0.0"
