This is a story of a terrible crime, and its punishment.
Dodiez gets a lot of fan mail. Some of it is about her right to steal my orange soda because she's a woman, some of it is because people love listening to her in her intergalactic renowned hit Eve Online is for BoB; others have paid 50m into the Eve-O-Lympics in order to have a drunken Dodiez scream their name orgasmically live on Eve Radio. Still others love her for her various quirks and such.
Sometimes, some of those fans take it a step too far, and turn from "fan" into "stalker." Such was the case with one of her fans; nameless in the interest of this story, but we'll call him Trigol.
Now, apparently Trigol had been chatting it up with Dodiez for a month or so; she's chatty enough that this sort of thing isn't at all unusual. Trigol is about 22 years old, likely fresh-faced, and a bit too young to fit in with our age group. However, after a month or so of conversation, he apparently decided that he and Dodiez would be a perfect match together.
Then he started trying to woo her, explaining that they "fit perfectly together" and "were a perfect match for each other," and "should meet up" and such. Trigol knows well that I've already laid claim to the Orange Soda Thief!
So it was that last night I decided that this wanton adulteress-to-be would meet his grisly demise at my hands! *dum dum dum*
After opening a friendly chat with him, and talking about life as a carebear for a bit, it turns out that he flies a Hulk. Now, I like Hulk on Hulk action as well as the next heteroshipual. I explained to him how I was creating a video called "Carebears PewPew Too!" Basically, he would be mining in a belt, and I would come into the belt in my Hulk - he would ask me to leave the belt since Hulks clean out a belt pretty fast; I would tell him to buzz off, at which point he would steal my ore and we would start plinking at each other in our Hulks - a carebear fight.
He thought this was a dandy idea, and said "Well, if it was anyone else in the universe, I'd think you're just trying to gank me." To which I replied "Eh...I'll even toss in 100m ISK if you can scare me off. :)"
He proceeds to fly 6 jumps to pick up his Hulk, 9 more jumps to get to me, so that he can be part of the epic "Carebears PewPew Too!" video. I get him set up in the belt mining, warp out, warp back in so that he can start the script to our little production. He steals my can and voila! Webbed, scrammed, neutralized, and a rack of tech2 hammerheads get unleashed.

Hire a merc corp, a high sec hit squad, hell, even build a suicide BS and kill him yourself. But lying to the guy and then betraying his trust to kill him? Meh.
And you are so insecure as to think that your relationship is in jeapordy due to some noob flirting with your chick on vent? Good grief.
I'm all for killing, and definitely all for killing carebears, and even marking your territory (expecting to be unpopular with your gf referring to her as your territory lol), but doing what you did is tantamount to breaking a 1v1 or corp theft.
There were much more honorable avenues of attack than that sort of underhanded backstabbing.
Edit: btw, your gf sounds fun. What's your vent info? LOL. 
I don't think I've pirated another guys gf before. At least not over vent.

This all happened in chat, not on ventrilo. And I didn't kill him for hitting on my girl; I'd have to kill half the universe and most of the Eve Radio staff.
He just took it a bit too far. And I've always wanted some Hulk on Hulk action.

Well, I guess you have a point, sort of. I just have this thing against outright lying to someone in order to sucker them into a trap, unless A) they've already betrayed my trust by breaking an agreement (read: 1v1s etc.), B) lied to me directly, or C) are French.
Unless of course the entire point of the operation is to infiltrate and destroy a corp from within, i.e. GHSC.

As many carebears as there is in Eve, Eve is still a PVP game. Pathetic you couldn't show a fellow PVP'er (whether he chooses to PVP or not) a little respect, this is a game after all. You've lost any respect I've had for you.
And I doubt he ever said anything about being perfect for Dodiez, as I'm quite sure she'd have killed him herself had he went in that direction. 2/10 for effort in creating a story to make you seem as a defender of justice, to hide the fact that you're nothing more than a liar. (Oh and FYI the 2 points are for organization, some posts on here aren't even readable).

Maybe you shoulda known not to trust ANYONE. If Chribba sends me a gang invite to mine Veld with him I am going to make sure I have a gang waiting yo bail me out when he locks me down.
I would have been especially more careful accepting a gang invite if I was actively seeking to steal that guys girlfriend.
BTW Curzon, did you make that fraps you were pretending to make?

I'm sorry for posting a little bit offtopic but I didn't want to creata a new thread just for this. but is there anything else out there with Dodiez? I've heard some other versions of that internet is for ****-song, but this one was probably the most funny I've listened too :P

loved the EvE online is for BoB bit, quite funny. Wouldn't say it's unfair at all lie to someone to gank them, but I would class that as act of piracy .
