There one party succeeded in doing so and that#s why subscriptions dropped by 80% or something.

If you actually go back and look carefully over our history (goonswarm's that is) you will see that we have never sought dominance over anyone. We have almost always been responding to a long chain of abuses by other entities. I don't expect this to change your mind, really, since you're a partisan spin doctor, but hopefully other people will actually take a look at what we represent and notice that we have never wanted to be the supreme power in Eve, but only to have a secure home in 0.0. The sad fact is that BoB have created a situation (by swearing to drive us from the game/control our game/destroy anything significant we ever achieve) where we can't rest until they are expunged. If BOB was defeated, all the many "pubbie" alliances who they regard as semi-worthless and only just tolerate being allied with would be reset in an eye blink. It amazes me so many alliances who the Goons regard as a running joke are allied with them (Hi KOS, IAC, many drone region and ex-ASCN alliances).
