Why should you give it too me? Well really I dont know. can give you the same reasons everyone else has, make some cool one liners, maybe even an awsome poem, but instead ill tell you the truth.
About 4 months agao I left EvE - not becouse of ANYTHING to do with the game, but becouse of real life issues. My Wife left me. Havnt heard from her since. Hopefully one day soon she will talk to me again and we can get back together (no, I did not ever hit her or abuse her, she just wasnt "happy") but really thats neither here nor there.
I left EvE becouse of this, however I continued to pay for the game without realising. About a fortnight ago I noticed my bank acount had some wierd "EvE" purchases on it, thinking that I had canceled my acount and that maybe someone was stealing I contacted the good people here at EvE and explained I had not been playing for a few months and didnt realise my acount was still being billed.
Well the nice guys here gave me back a few months of money (Very thankful for that) and I decided, well, I do miss the game, ill start playing again.
Sadly becouse of the lapse in time im months behind where I otherwise would have been in skills (if id realised I was still paying I would have keept training and be in a command ship by now). So no real big deal, but a few months away before I can get a nice Nighthawk.
Iv decided to keep on playing, im back with my good old corp mates SCI and although iv lost a lot in the game due to station ping-pong and diplomatic mumbo-jumbo stopping me from getting most of my gear back from stations it was in, at least I have once again got a nice ratting ship and my corp mates have given me a good olf Ferox and Caracal to fight in (shows you how bloody damn good a corp is when they help you out like that after beeing away for so many months).
Do I "deserve" this cap pilot? i dont know - only you can decide that. Im not even going to ask for it.
So why am i making this post? Well really its becouse I wanted people too know how damn good my corp has been for me. Iv been going through a rough patch thanks to my wife leaving me, and the corp understands, they helped me out, and even when I didnt talk too them for a few months they took me back in without any hesitation.
Thats what real friends are. And iv been after the opurtunity to say that.
My life might be a bit ****** over right now. My wife of 3 years left me. Im now back too living with my folks as I could not afford to pay off my house by myself (instead im renting it out, gonna keep that bad boy though!!) The only person iv ever loved and felt loved by has left me (We where together for abot 7 years all up) but through it all iv had friends beside me, willing to help out and offer support.
Thankyou to all the guys in SCI for being there.
And thankyou to CCP for reimbursing me those few months even though legally you didnt have to - just goes to show how nice these guys that everyone *****es about really are.
I wish you well IceForce in your future endevours and hope that any other game you play will have the same friendships in it that this game can make.
Good luck for the future, and I hope you find the right person to take over your pilot.
