One thing missing from the game that people do anyways, that would just be a great addition is a right click option for "Align" its so simple but great,
just click on a object in space and right click align, and voiala! aligned.
Please :D

So how is that quicker than just clicking slightly off the object you want to align to?

ahh but we don't want Eve to be too easy, i'd miss the 'frantic looking around everywhere for the gate thing' when i see everyone else uncloaking before i realise the damn thing is either right behind the sun or above/below me

Anyway, I find the easiest way to align (in a ship larger than shuttle/fast frig) is to initiate warp, then stop the ship just as the speedo reaches three-quarters. Next, stop the ship then click your 'full speed' button or just double click in the direction it's going.
A bit fiddly, but works ok.

This is a terrible thing to do. Every time we got out in a gang there is always one person who you see warp off on his own because he didnt quite stop it in time. This can ruin traps and get people killed.

A button up with the Warp to/Orbit ones would be great ... and/or on the context menus. Really annoying when you can see the gate or its happens to be in the direction of other objects which make clicking in space difficult.
