I'm not sure if these have already been suggested:
1. Dispatch: A dispatch is a route, destination, trade opportunity or just about anything that can be displayed on the holomap, tagged with a short note sent FROM the conference room TO a character or characters anywhere in EVE (even outside the conference room). The interface should be such that it's easy to send the dispatch to just one person or a group of people. It should make it easy to quickly select members from your corporation, alliance, or any given character outside of them. The receiving character should be able to use the dispatch to set a destination at the very least, but other actions could be linked to it (contracts perhaps?).
2. Report: A report is a reverse dispatch - a datagram sent by a character outside of the conference room TO a selected character in a conference room. A report can be anything from a stationary location, the last known location of a given target to a trade opportunity and beyond. The character receiving the report should be allowed to display the datagram on the conference room holomap. It should also be possible to send reports directly to a conference room, to be displayed automatically as they arrive (for the management to oversee fleet or trade operations, for example).
3. Map state presets: The holomap should allow players to create, copy and store both their personal map state presets and public map state presets, tied to that particular conference room for anyone to access (if they are permitted to operate the map). A map state preset is basically a snapshot of the view options selected at that time. If, for example, someone wanted to go through a presentation outlining the various operations of the corporation or alliance, they could create a set of map state presets beforehand and then smoothly run through them in the actual conference session. Map state presets should allow for folders similar to bookmarks, for easy retrieval later. Selecting a personal or public map state preset would change the current holomap to those settings (zoom level, map filters, markers, notes, etc, etc).
