Was quite ****ed off my happy trees never looked like more than blobby-triangle-things... And hell yeah, that Youtube link is bloody amazing. I'm not very art-inclined, but that makes me want to go buy a tablet and learn how to do it

Even the great masters had to use models for their paintings of something of something as relitively simple as the human being, being able to accurately portray an EVE spaceship without a reference would be autistic. Him flipping the screenshot into fullsize once and a while to get the small details isn't unlikely. -NWS/Mav

He's of course better than most likely 80% of the rest of us but he's not even near the top yet. There's still room for improvement which can be gained through experience. (I also do agree with someone that it does seem like a screenshot trace) -
