Good day all,
So I'm trying to get into the field of lowsec mission busting, and am looking for some pointers from the more experienced ppl here that do it. I've got 'decent' scanning skills, and am using a force recon to do the scanning and warp in to take the target, however I haven't had a lot of luck actually finding mission runners. I've busted a few safespots, but really haven't managed to find anyone worth jumping in on and taking a shot at. I realize a Covert Ops ship would scan faster, but I kinda like having the probe launcher on my recon for the quick warp in/attack; especially if there's no station in system to dock at and swap ships.
I understand that in order to find the 'good' systems, I should be looking for a mission hub with good L3/L4 agents as close to lowsec as possible, but so far I haven't come up with very many good leads. Can anyone make any suggestions as to where I should be looking around to find these targets?
Any other nuggets of scan probing wisdom would also be appreciated.

head to villore then convo me
killed 2x mission runner bs yesterday missed a 3rd coz the rats got him in the second room before we got to him.

Mission busting is most efficient in a small gang (2-3 pirates) including the prober (who may or may not switch ships , a probing frigate / covops can always tackle)
Racial exploration probes get results more reliably than recon probes (faster most of the time) , probe launchers on recons are only good for safespots.
Bookmark each mission site you find to get in probing position faster next time. If some targets seem unreachable , just run a few L1 missions in that system to have a bookmark grid to get started.

Yeah I know what you mean, I use to try getting low sec mission runners all the time. To me it seemed impossible waiting almost 2 minutes per scan and having to run multiple ones by putting the Recon Luncher on a comabat ship. So I just got a friend to assist with a covert ops and problem solved. Still hard to get them sometimes, good luck
